Recieved your september packages?

+1

Which stores did not inform you about this?

Was this normal packages, or anything with li-ion or something special?

I got a parcel of 30 diamond 4mm burrs bought off a Hong Kong based ebay seller on 16th October on 26th October via Hong Kong Post.
It’s just a lottery at the moment, I’ve got orders from the end of September still outstanding from Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, FastTech, TMart and ebay. there’s no logic to it at all.
It’s like they stick a container full of old mail in with the new every so often and give it a good stir. :email: :email: :sushi: :email:

My September packages all arrived, but it's the early October ones that I am concerned about. During that time, the packages sent to the post office from the sellers, arrived at the post office, but there was such turmoil at the time, that they do not show ever being received, nor will they. The post office did not have any tracking system going on at the time and their organization seemed to collapse, so no one knows where the packages are. We're talking a major screw up here. Think of how many packages these people do in a day and then realize that none of them can be traced.

I have talked to several of the sellers that I have worked with and they all say that they will not refund until it's been over 50 days minimum, after that, they will refund. Now, if the package comes back, they sometimes refund, sometimes send it again, sometimes sit on it and that's where I think they fail, but it is what it is. They all know of the Paypal 45 day rule, but they stick to their 50 day or longer time before they refund. They have said, "you need to see it from our side" and my reply is, "it's my side that I'm worried about". With Paypal having a 45 day rule and with these guys waiting till over 50 days, they and us will continue to have heated discussions with no resolutions.

There does not seem to be a resolution, but something like this mess seems to happen almost every year over there and it's always in the latter part of the year. I don't think they will ever get it together, but if the Lithium situation continues to be pressed upon them from nations like the USA and from the airlines, then most certainly, (in my mind), it can only get worse.

I intend to contact each seller, (that I have orders with), at the 40 day mark and tell them that I will obey Paypal policy and dispute the orders at the 45 day period. From now on, I will follow Paypal procedure and sellers can either get with that program or they can take it on the chin. It is not our fault that we have to abide by the 45 day rule, but not following it means that we would have to trust the sellers to refund on their schedule and I do not trust my neighbor, let alone some anonymous person halfway around the world and I don't feel I should trust them completely either.

Nothing to worry on seller’s side about the 45 days PP versus 50 days. After the 45, dispute still has another 20days window. And after that, up to 30 days for Claim to be reviewed and settled.

Say buyer starts dispute at day 42, then wait another 18 days to escalate to Claim, that’s already 60 days. Well over 50 days seller’s deadline. And if buyer receive the order, even under Claim status, the dispute can immediately be closed without problem.

My advise is just to follow standard protection window and both buyer and seller should be fairly dealt with. And to be fair to seller, if you do receive the item after refund anyway, you should really consider paying for it.

These sellers agreed to Paypal’s policy when they accepted our money.
They want 50 days? Fine.
They can have a paypal dispute at 44. Just don’t raise it to a claim till at least 6 days later. That is 50 days.

Since I have additional orders that may likely get disputed, I prefer to not name names. Even though they should have told me without being pressed by PP, at least they are not fighting the dispute. I don't want to discourage that level of cooperation.

The orders did not include batteries or anything special. Mostly parts for modding and some lights.

Have not received any of the missing September packages yet...

Received another October package today, from IOS (arrived in 27 days, which is way slower than average).... In comparison, still waiting for packages from IOS ordered in the middle of September (43 days ago)..

I received a big batch of September orders yesterday. Ranging from 9/5 to 9/25. Closed my disputes on all of them. Now I only have 1 dispute outstanding with Manafont.

I was too late to dispute 3 orders with:

  • CNQG
  • FT
  • FocalEcig

FocalEcig told me the order was returned to them and they have told me they have reshipped it. FT tells me to keep waiting. CNQG has not yet responded to me.

My MF order arrived before I had to go the paypal route.

Intl-outdoor packages arrived yesterday. Closed disputes. (Two different Oktober orderes from IOS arrived before the mid September packages)

I have gotten refunds from Fancyflashlights. The first/oldest order is now 60 days old, I have pretty much lost hope so Im considering to reorder, but with tracking. The other one was never marked shipped and I newer got a reply from customer service after waiting for weeks..

Still waiting on orders from T-Mart and FT (ordered 54/52 days ago).

My 1 cent lights are at day 44 & 45. I'll let these go without filing a dispute.

I’m still waiting for a A3T light ordered 21st September. I thought it had arrived this morning, but that package turned out to be a pen I ordered from eBay - on 7th November. So, 7 days from Hong Kong to the UK - pretty amazing. Must be the old fashioned envelop with string closure (a la Solarforce) and the postage stamps used. A record for me, certainly.

Package from T-mart arrived. But it took around 60 days.. The same day I received it I won the claim that I had just started. Since I had gotten the package I contacted PP and they said they would transfer the money back to T-mart.

One Fasttech package have still not arrived. I have escalated to claim. I wanted to try and solve the issue with FT but they were too slow to answer (still waiting.)

One of my early packages from October (from E-fest battery with batteries) never arrived. I started a PP dispute at day 45. I got my money back almost right away.

But I have gotten a bit annoying (probably automated) mail from Paypal:

Anyone else got one?

I have always waited between 42-45 days before opening dispute. And always waited another 10 days++ before escalating to claim. Its not my fault the packages are either super slow or have been returned to the sender..

I think they want you to buy from more reliable vendors. Too many cases = too much effort on their end = loss of money.

Sounds like a business.

So I need to stop to buy stuff from Fasttech, Fancyflashlights/CNQ, Efestbattery and probably T-mart because none of these are reliable vendors?

(Like mentioned I made sure T-Mart got their money back since I got the package, and I am still waiting for my FT package which was ordered 64 days ago)

I knew the Efest battery order was a gamble.. But the other ones, no batteries or anything special..

I wonder if reversing the escalation decision for Tmart triggered PP to send you the email warning. I haven't received any such email and I get the impression I have filed more disputes than you have. I would say that about 60% were canceled by me after receiving the order (Some after I escalated), 30% were refunded by the vendors with without me having to escalate, and 10% were escalated and decided in my favor.

If that is the case, it's yet another example of no good deed going unpunished.

Oh, forgot the following updates:

Focalecig did reship an order I never received or disputed. I have received the reshipment.

FT has notified me that that they will issue me a refund on an order I never received and had not disputed. I just replied to them that I will take the PP refund instead of the store credit.

CNGQ has not replied to my numerous attempts to contact them about never receiving my 3 Dry drivers that I did not dispute in time in PP.

I hope you get contact with CNGQ . Try to PM Ric here.

One of my orders from Fancyflashlights(/CNGQ) only contained a single DRY driver. But the order was never marked as shipped. Its still marked as "unshipped". I tried to contact them about it, but never got a reply. I never got a reply through PP either..

To sum it up, once more.

4 orders where Paypal was involved since i escalated to claim:

2 orders from fancyflashlights where Paypal had to refund my money.

1 order from T-Mart. Paypal decided the case in my favor, but I got the package the same day case ended, so I made sure T-mart got back their money back despite that I won the case. (Edit: Im pretty sure T-mart refunded me before Paypal took a look at the claim)

1 order from FT escalated to claim. Waiting for answer from both PP and FT...

3 orders where disputes were closed by me or vendor before Paypal had to look at them:

2 orders from intl-outdoor. Disputes closed by me (packages received).

1 order from Efestbattery (ordered early October). They refunded me through paypal. Probably because the batteries never left China due to the new restrictions..

That's less activity than I had. Surely, PP was aware of the shipping fiasco. The email appears to be an automated response. Something in one of your disputes must have triggered it. Maybe on of the PP folks decided they didn't like you. I'm guessing several more of these emails would need to be issued before PP takes any further action.

I still feel we don't know something. I can't help but wonder if this was all really a big insurance scam. In the end, the big losers in this whole mess will be the insurers (or shippers, if self insured).

Near to 2 months and two packages of wallbuys and fasttech don`t arrive.
Both bought in september.

I haven’t received one package from intl-outdoor.com (shipped 8/28). And I think they stil have some problems because one of my packages left China 10 days ago (11/8) and still haven’t landed in my country. And still no news about my Maxtoch SN6X-2X from BLF GB - sent 11/8, appeared on tracking 11/11 and that’s it… (I hope it’s just because of UN Climate Change Conference)
