If youāre going to build tall, running a strand of coppper braid vertically for āreinforcementā is essential. Bridging the gap between the pins is much easier that way.
At least thatās the only way I could pull it off, thereās members here who have been stacking for way longer and probably have some better tips
I just use both sides of the board, stack one on top of all 8 on the Qlite driver for a theoretical 6.08A. Just got through doing this with the MT-G2 in my M8 moments ago, with Samsung 20R cells itās pulling 5.65A at the tail, didnāt even check to see if the cells are topped off. They should be close if theyāre not.
Thatās some 3000 lumens on Hi, around 1000 on Med, and 400 on Lo. Approximately.
There was a pic of i think a german guy who has stacked like a gazillion high?
The FourSevens 26650 cells are 68mm protected flattops.
How many AMCās can be stacked into this C8 pill ?
Iām considering 12.
Is there suffice space ?
The original pill can fit an extra layer of AMC7135 chips on the top, so you could have 12 chips in total.
The 3x AMC7135 edition pill can accomodate two extra layers of AMC7135 chips, which allows 16 chips in total.
Hereās some progress that we have made: Eyecandy alert
WOW!
I'm seeing the appeal of copper. :D
xdā¦
How many are left for sale?
Currently 23 HD2010 and 14 Convoy C8 left.
And unbelievably fast!!! Man, seeing those makes me want to buy more, worry about getting lights for em later! lol
Your camera flash is making some of those beauties look almost like aluminium! This is simply unacceptable!
Seriously, you need to put a filter in front of your flash so theyāll look like Gold instead.
I donāt believe I used the flash, with my Nexus 4, the copper pills were washed out when I used it.
Itās only the lights on the ceiling.
Did a quick tweak on one of the pictures, mostly white balance...
There are many things that can be said about copper pills. But I think everyone feels the urge to give one of those puppies a new home.. ;)
They sure look good!
I also downloaded that pic, opened it up in Photoshop and tried to make those two baskets of copper appear on my desk, didnāt work. Maybe On1 or Topaz will get it. Iāll keep trying, but might wait til theyāre threaded and drilled
4.9A, double stack on the side:
4.9A, double stack on the back:
Might try 5.6A on for this copper pill, but only cell that might have a chance is a Powerizer...
Thanks for the photo edit RaceR, looks much better.
Great stacking skills. Iām assuming the chips canāt be stacked on the battery side of the driver due to space constraints?
Thanks!

+1 Maybe Iāll just keep it on the shelf as a display piece, almost seems a shame to hide it away inside an aluminium tube!
PP sent as friend with standard tip for one copper C8 pill.
I plan to direct drive a Phatlight Pt-54 red led in it, which I heard from some that it draws 6A and others that it draws 13A. Iāll have to get an Omten switch from FT and better springs from saabluster.
I really like how the SolarForce M3 head looks compared to a C8, but the M3 reflector that the pill threads into isnāt itself threaded into the bezel.
Iām still in the market of buying 3 copper P60 pills though.
