Your BLF Avatar

The first two Resident Evil films are my favourite, Fifth Element is fun sci-fi, and Zoolander is really funny.

The fifth element is a great sci-fi movie, the opera singer sets the hairs on the back of my neck going every time.
The fifth elephant is a great sci-fi book by Terry Pratchett.
The avatar I use an image of Vlad the impaler - get the point.

Simple, three questions, why did you choose your current avatar?
What is your avatar?
Are you planning on changing your avatar?

1: - It’s appropriate for a flashlight forum.

2: - It’s a Surefire Hellfighter with one of many cables and a Surefire Hellfighter hard case (one of three). I also have an original SF ‘Hellfire’ case. ‘Hellfire’ was the original name for the light.

3: - Maybe. I have two Hellfighters with all accessories. Might show both facing each other while powered up. Need to play with that idea a little and see what it might look like before I make up my mind.

here is a link to a real wooden bike built for 200 dollars by a guy in hungary…

my avatar is just me…doing what i usually do on a sunday afternoon…cook over an open pit with oak…

this is Taz with photoshoped surefire M6LT in left hand ( i don’t actually have it) and nitecore EA4W in the right hand (i do have one of those) and of course i made the beams to look warm…very warm…

That is a very cool avatar Kralyevski.

My Avatar is just a random photo of a Trustfire Z2, a Thrunite Ti2, and Trustfire Mini01 and Mini02 i usually change it out from time to time.

Mine is the one I have always had on Internet. I chose Fritz the Cat because I am a great Robert Crumb fan and because I was alone and he always did well with women. It brought me luck, and I have been for thirteen years with a woman I met on a chat program called The Palace.

I started using mine on CPF back in late 2007. It came from the Family Guy episode where Brian (the dog) shares an apartment with his girlfriend Jillian.

Robert Crumb, You’d recognize this then……

And Fritz the Cat was a good cartoon!

I used to buy all the comics at one time, Fat Freddy’s Cat was a favourite.

So I tweaked my signature... quite a bit. 8)

Old signature, from yesterday:

New signature:

Alice's red dress makes a much-needed return.

About half of the pics in the new signature are, well, new.

Also, I tried to improved the color symmetry. ;)

What do you think?

Nice!

And you cropped the left picture. I actually was thinking it could use that.

Anyone notice the great fretless bass playing by Pino Palladino? Definitely influenced by Jaco Pastorius. Anyone care?

Yes I recognize the drawing. I think I have it somewhere. He said he was attracted to his drawings of women.
In one strip Fat Freddy’s cat said “All my friends are out f and fighting and Freddy forgot to let me out.” My first wife and I used that phrase a lot, and I still use it.
Originally that was little, down at the bottom of Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers cartoons.
Last Xmas I gave my grand nephew or whatever that is called a small book of Grimm’s Fairy Tales illustrated by S. Clay Wilson. He worked closely with Crumb on the Early Zapp issues. His ridiculous lack of restraint seems a good match for the Brothers Grimm.

Incognita explains it all

I choose my current avatar because the idea hit me last night and I wanted a change.

It's just an arrangement of flashlights to resemble a face. It has a right angle flashlight (Shadow something or other) standing out the mouth that is supposed to resemble a pipe (as in tobacco or whatever you prefer to imagine it to be).

I will probably change it when I get bored of it.

That bird is running around in a urban park? Your local dog walkers must carry syringes loaded with telazole to keep their dogs from getting mugged.

I was looking out the window and just happened to see a red squirrel (Very endangered species here) sitting on the fence...

And it just so happened I had a camera with me.
