I've been emailing with Wayne about the Shocker modding. Be interested to here what you think, and if you can do any amps or lumens/lux readings. Has he said what you can expect? Haven't looked at his thread in a while...
Testing it tonight, but first impressions is that it’s a heffer and a very narrow beam.
Will have it fully tested in a week or so. Thinking the tk75 might be a better option now but will see

I can definitely feel the weight of those pills.
They total up to about 4 kilos, was quite heavy to bring them back. I’ll get to packaging and wrapping them tomorrow.

zelee, that begs an old question…if a person were to offer to give you a Corvette, top of the line with the hottest engine, would you/could you accept it? The car itself would be free, but could you insure it? Put tires on it? Pay maintenance costs? The average person might not.
There are things in life that are free, but bring with them great cost. No offense girls, but y’all are one of those! And there are things in life that are very expensive, but are not worth having. (cough cough Surefire cough cough) Sometimes, counting the beans is time wasted that could be more wisely spent enjoying the better things in life.
Most of us who have entered the wonderful world of modding are all too familiar with the escalating cost of what started out as a budget light. My new little chopped MiniMag, with it’s Triple Noctigon board populated with XP-G2 emitters and pushing something like 1000 lumens is a very good example of that. A common 2 AA MiniMag, now barely over 3 1/2” long, with a final cost around $50. Silly, isn’t it?
