Picked mine up today.
Same problem with the packing as everyone has had.
Couple of very small marks on the body I think caused by lanyard, or banging around for 45 days.
Very nice light for the price for sure.
I will have to go over the upgrades others have done.

I'm surprised none of the major vendors picked this up. I'm also surprised that no one has tried to sell theirs, which makes it more surprising that none of the major vendors are selling it.
Personally, wouldn’t even think about selling it. I really want a new driver to get rid of the horrid UI, but I love the light itself.
The UI does suck... But, I pretty much just use high and medium on it, and when I shut it off I just turn the battery tube a hair to lock it out so I never see low, strobe or SOS
I am really surprised no vendors have stocked it also. For all I know, us in the group buy may be the only ones to own one. I have seen a few unknown vendors selling it, but crazy high prices

I modded one for a friend which makes me want one of my own. I contacted Supfire and got a decent price on the light itself, but the shipping I was quoted literally doubles the price! No can do.
Edit: FWIW, adding a 4th R056 resistor and stacking a 5th yields results in the high 9A range on laptop pulls, pretty sure that number will be well up in the 10A range with good cells. This is with XM-L2 emitters on Noctigon stars.
Yeah, they want to push for Fedex or DHL shipping... If you push you can get them to do HK or China post. Shipping will still not be cheap, but it is reasonable.
Edit: I am going to add one R030 resistor to each free pad, which should push it up to a little over 3a per emitter with XML, not sure what it would end up being with XML2 on copper. R030 are not a common part so I need to special order some, but I keep slacking. Spent more than my limit this payday at IO, but this Wednesday I hope I remember my Digikey order and get some needed resistors to finally mod this
I liked the build quality, nicely done with a thick shelf for the emitters to sit on. Since shipping was a hassle and I really wanted one of their lights, I searched their product line and found their F9 more suitable to my taste. Ms. Yu offered $12 shipping so I went with that. She was all over it, next business day my order was in the mail and the tracking already shows it US bound.
I’ve also gotta say SupFire customer service is Excellent!
When I was messing with the M6 I made a mistake somehow, shorted out the cells which immediately weakened the springs and gave em a nice rainbow effect. The tail cap is glued on. And I mean it’s GLUED on! Took an extreme effort to get it off to gain access to the tail springs and in doing so I damaged the tail cap.
Ms. Yu offered to replace the driver, tail cap, and board with springs for the cost of shipping!! So yeah, I jumped on that. Very nice lady to deal with. Albeit conversation was back and forth to gain understanding, but very nice, eager to please.
Another reason I really wanted a SupFire light. And now my own is on the way, complete with a Titanium finish anodize. Can’t wait!!!
I asked them for a replacement driver(killed mine) and they said it would be free just I pay shipping, but shipping is 11$?
I said that the shipping of the whole light was less but they still confess that shipping is expensive…
I am pretty sure the shipping cost in the group buy cut into their profit of the lights... I was a pretty tough negotiator to get the final price as low as I did...
Probably, but if I consider big vendors with free shipping like wallbuys which ship a whole light in a box with tracking for 15$… It couldn’t be so expensive.
Also there english was very hard to understand…
I believe it was hard work for you.
Perhaps that’s where subsidizing comes into play. The large vendor that ships daily has subsidizing for their shipping to encourage sales Internationally. Maybe SupFire doesn’t have this subsidizing.
Exactly. They said that they usually do not ship single lights, just bulk orders.
