Banggood - I won't be dealing with them again

Ok, thank you for that information.

I should have said, items were listed as shipped quickly. Nothing has arrived yet, but things are well within acceptable time limits still.

I’ll also add I now have a tracking # for one of the shipments, so although shipping didn’t quite go the way I was expecting, I’m feeling a bit better about the process.

Ok,it's in Sydney now.DHL is fast.

Hi everyone, please watch the tone here. No need for insults.

Maybe TMI, too much information. Now we get tracking, big splashy product info pages, and its easy to forget that all of that stuff is automatic generated by third parties so a vendor doesn’t control accuracy of product page info or tracking, just passes it through.

I’ve been trying to get Summit (major USA auto parts online) to correct a pricing error on 4 replacement sockets for a $8 tool they can’t seem to shake a price that is 10x too high on, but nobody else even seems to carry.

Be realistic the lowest price has to come at some lower cost in operations.

Looks like I won’t be keeping the 2600 lumen one then :stuck_out_tongue:
In all seriousness though, I’ve been very impressed with Neal from BG since I created this thread.

How does Banggood handle $100-150 orders that choose expedited shipping?

Is it free and they choose whatever shipping service they want? What kind of delivery time would I be looking at in a normal scenario (Provided it’s actually in stock)?

Update

Amazingly the 6x NCRB’s I ordered a week after the TK75 (and detoured around the planet to avoid getting stuck at Chinese customs) arrived the same day the TK75 did.
Unfortunately I wasn’t home to collect it but have organised with DHL a delivery time tomorrow I’ll be able to collect.

Good news: I’ll finally get my TK75 tomorrow!
Bad news: No free 2600 lm TK75 :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Neal for handling this very well (after I made this thread)

Really disappointed with their service.

1. Ordered their newly listed products, prices dropped within couple of days with new coupon. Asked if they can refund the difference, since they have 72hrs price protection. They claimed prices have not reduced and no further words from them.

2. Think I am the first few to order their newly listed products, but my order is now “Back Order”. Crap.

3. All email through customer service takes 3 days to reply. By the time most people already lose their interest in buying.

Think I should stick to FT, DX and ebay. At least I can buy with confident.

Hey, don’t expect a discount after you already bought something, if thats the case go rather to the flee.market.

What’s the point of their 72 hour price protection then? So it sounds good so they can more easily get your money?

Of course, I understand the rule. It is not like I am new to online shopping.
Since they have “price protection”, no harm asking for it right? … They did not honour it anyway.

Look, noone is forcing you to buy anything, anywhere. It is your own decision, to do whatever you want with your money. Sometimes you gain and sometimes you lose, but never in a way that someone TAKES your money without your confirmation, and usually you do get what you’ve ordered. These days, i rather put my €€€ to banggood then to slowtech, but thats just my opinion.

Haha, I might be a newbie in BLF but that does not mean I am new to online sales and marketing (irrelevant topic).

Give all your dollars to Banggood if you are happy with it… Nobody is going to stop you.
I am sure Neal will be happy to hear that.

fyi: I am not affiliated to any of the stores mentioned. I am not here to piss off anyone

To tell you the truth, till now, all my packages arrived in 45 days or less, doesn’t matter where i’ve ordered. Few days back i had to make my first dispute for some usb cables from DX. Thats about the only “bad” thing that had happened to me.

don't buy.

you know why.

sorry for ot lol hh.

i'll delete myself no prob.

lol again.

Why not change the title of this post?

I have an order on the way also, if I have trouble, I will pick it up where you left off.

Just checking my order, I order on 13 Nov and get back order. I don’t ask any refund for difference, so should be no problem or this back order is a habit.
Actually going to make another order, but I think must back off too.

Yeah, that whole back order thing was super annoying to me. It cost them a couple high end tablet orders at least, which I’ll probably just find a US seller for.

Another minor annoyance that I didn’t see mentioned here:

The only order they actually shipped of mine was large enough to qualify for a tracking number, but they broke the order up into two orders, and with the orders split (by them), only one qualified for the tracking and the other didn’t, even though it was placed as a single order. So my large order went out with only some of it having a tracking number. This was less annoying than the back order issues, but didn’t do much for my confidence in their operation.

I hate how companies do this, but they're right. The price hasn't changed. Unfortunately their price protection doesn't extend to coupons. Anyhow, you were happy to pay the regular price, so you can't be too upset.

I've been a victim of back order items too, but it seems all of the bigger vendors do this. Fasttech and Dealextreme for sure. Maybe ebay too, but unlike DX, FT and BG, there's no way to know unless the ebay vendor goes out of their way to let you know.

Thanks, I needed a good laugh today.
