Banggood - I won't be dealing with them again

Yeah, that whole back order thing was super annoying to me. It cost them a couple high end tablet orders at least, which I’ll probably just find a US seller for.

Another minor annoyance that I didn’t see mentioned here:

The only order they actually shipped of mine was large enough to qualify for a tracking number, but they broke the order up into two orders, and with the orders split (by them), only one qualified for the tracking and the other didn’t, even though it was placed as a single order. So my large order went out with only some of it having a tracking number. This was less annoying than the back order issues, but didn’t do much for my confidence in their operation.

I hate how companies do this, but they're right. The price hasn't changed. Unfortunately their price protection doesn't extend to coupons. Anyhow, you were happy to pay the regular price, so you can't be too upset.

I've been a victim of back order items too, but it seems all of the bigger vendors do this. Fasttech and Dealextreme for sure. Maybe ebay too, but unlike DX, FT and BG, there's no way to know unless the ebay vendor goes out of their way to let you know.

Thanks, I needed a good laugh today.

+1:

-How often do you order more than one item from an eBay vendor? So in other words how many of your eBay orders could be split up?

I also however agree with Racer, it is extremly annoying when you place an order for multiple items only to have it split up, it would be nice if they would contact the buyer first and give him the option to either wait, or cancel the items that are backordered and get a store coupon instead.

@freeme: How much did the price drop, would you have saved fifty cents perhaps? I’m going to turn this into a win situation for you. You give us the original price, and then the link to the code, and I’m going to donate 2X that amount to Philippine disaster relief on your behalf.

Only BG has the configuration that I wanted and offered better price as I understand. FT is what I preferred but the latest change in Li-ION battery shipping method is disappointing.
All my stocks from other suppliers came in at rather predictable timing (<30days if not issue). Usually shipped from warehouse within 5days , with “proper” tracking.
I have not tried China Wholesale sites as they do not accept Paypal.

Hmm, many complain about Slowtech. All their items arrives within avg 2.5weeks for my case. Perhaps, my geographical location is in favour.

I did that quite often.

Do not trust PH gov agencies with your money.

Damn, I got customer ready to purchase but my orders not shipped yet. Haha…

Having lived there for 6 years, I’d tend to agree. However you can probably trust International Red Cross.

Yeah, Gotcha: protecting the flight crews of cargo planes is real inconvenient for the rest of us that try to make an honest living selling batteries locally to end users who’s criteria for picking a reseller is the one that offers the lowest price possible.

HK ATM is slow ....

Recent security Upgrade has slowed things to a crawl : Especially economy mail ...

And stuff has disappeared ( or never shipped ? )

I think some sellers may play the never shipped game , probably figure if 10% of people dont complain or open a PP dispute its free money ..

I try not to do repeat business with these sellers ... But since one individual may run 5 or more ebay stores under different names ?

Then there is the theft issue , stuff get stolen ... ( or is simply lost )

As for the Sellers such as Banggood ....

They dont keep that much stock , so if there is a run on something , then it becomes a waiting game , as the seller is waiting on the distributor or manufacturer ...

Want it now ? , buy local and pay more for the convenience ...

People get upset , sure thats understandable , but a company like banggood , they move a lot of stock , and some times , there are shortages , especially on popular items ...

And they make money by trying to keep customers happy , and through volume sales ( lower prices )

Its in there best interest to try and look after you , some times , its just not possible ...

And you havent waited until you have waited 6 months to get what you ordered ...

+ These guys are pretty good in the sense , if they havent shipped your order , they will refund your money ... ( if your tired of waiting )

I waited 6 months for DX to fill a flashlight order ( manufacturer was not making that model ) , they offered to refund my money 3 times , I refused the offer and told them I wanted the flashlight .. ( was it worth the wait = thats another story )

No more free shipping….I see they are charging shipping now on most items besides batteries.

Which ones? I couldn’t find any item that charged extra for shipping.

It depends on where they shipp, for me nothing is free shipped (I have to pay shipping fee for every product)…

Just ordered some hours ago with free shipping to germany.

Shipping is still "free" to the United States. I'm tempted to order this carbon fiber wrapped Solarforce L2C.

OK, this was fast, payed with credit card and my two Convoy C8s are on the way!

Although I’m no the stuff of Banggood, but I know this company is a great company. The boss is very nice to his employees. So, you case may be one carelessness made another mistake…
We are always overworked in China, hope you can understand them. And send the feedback to banggood intime, I believe they customer service would help slove your promble asap.
All of these are just Nicole’s opinion, never mind.

Good call Nicole. I dont know if its true or not at BG, but I always consider the difference in expectations between 1st world, and those living on bare minimums, for insanely long hours of labour. People doing two jobs, just to get slightly ahead, of people, and that ‘ahead’ not really being a position we would call, ahead.

Its a very different world they work in.

Mixed reviews on them, I’ve only had bad experiences with them.

I have had only the best of experiences and fastest shipping with them. I have only good to say.

Cancelled my NCRb’s at DX, which they said should be shipped in 72 hours. They didn’t even ship after 2 weeks :frowning:
Ordered samsung 18650’at Banggood and the shipped within 24 hours. Well done!

Is today the last day of the group bay?

What happens tomorrow then?

Since I was red flagged at DX. I have been ordering from Banggood. The shipping is faster and I get my items quicker but their customer service failed. My last order was a wireless doorbell. There was a section in the packaging for a small 12 volt battery but it was empty. The description on the website did not indicate whether it came with battery. So I sent an email asking that they look into this.

Banggood customer service was as follows:

Dear customer,

I have checked that the item SKU were shipped together with SKU and SKU on March 12th, could you please wait for more days, i think you will get it soon.

I don’t know if they understood my question or do they not understand English? I received my items but there is a problem but it seems they replied with a standard reply.
