Hi everyone,
Just noticed a new good looking stainless steel AA light at CNQG:
And it's not only good looking, but also NW with a great 4A tint!
I thought I could ask Ric for a group buy on this beauty, but decided to first order one for myself to be reviewed before GB, so that we don't need to buy a pig in a poke.
Based on the bulk prices shown there, I guess the GB price sould be below $25 shipped. Maybe even as low as $20..
Straight to the feeler part: Who would be interested?

Ill consider once I have read your review and know more about the light.
XP-G2 in 4A tint, nice! He should start selling those emitters bare/mounted on something!
I wonder what bin it is, need to know that as well..

I’m interested but this one lack of detail, how about UI, current drive and if it can take 14500.
So I prefer wait for your review too
Very stylish! I guess it is a clicky? I am interested if it is not too hard to swap the led board. So I will wait for your review, I hope it will contain a tear down

Same. Driver too.
The low mode should be lower.
Nice knurling.

It looks like it, but it doesn't actually say stainless steel.
Does it have a {insert expletive here} GITD bezel o-ring? If so, easily replaced?
Free laser engraving?
Not much info about it, so I’ll know for sure after reading your review, but for under 20$ I’ll probably want to add it to my collection
I'm very confused ....
Why would a group buy be as high as 20$ when it clearly says quantities on this light sell for 18$ for ten and 15$ for twenty.
Weight:30gram
$18.00
$15.00

That doesn't include the cost of shipping. There's a $7 difference for the T11 between FF and CNQ.
There's no way this things weighs 30 grams and is stainless steel.
The low mode should be lower.
agree... 30 grams is a crazy number
Ric has a tendency to pop people for his standard 7$ shipping fee. That is a little high imho considering the subsidization of china postal rates
Normally Rics groupbuy price is his 10 piece price shipped free So my guess on this one is 18$
A nice driver like the n-light driver would be cool ....Such a sucker for SS lights

That looks nice. Sorry new here not sure how exactly group buy is handled on the logistics side of things within the BLF community? Would someone please explain, I might be interested as well.
I agree, more information / review required but I would probably be in for one as well.
Looks interesting does this thing come with a clip?
Probably not. Probably no claw either, but I bet the claw can be added as an option..
Here's all the information what I have been able to dug out from Ric, so far:
- AA only, no 14500
- 3 modes: H-M-L (no idea about percentages or memory, I'll update when I get more info)
- SS tail clicky
- Minimum amount for GB: 30pcs
- Price $20, including registered shipping (SG post)
- Logo engraving, add $2 (free if we get over 50pcs)

Keen.
Chris
More info:
- No memory, always starts on High
- Claw is included in GB price
- "BLF" logo engraving free (if you want custom text, it's +2$ - or free if we get over 50pcs)

I’ll be in, if the review says that it’s of any good
Finaly, proud owner of a Powerex Maha mh c-9000 for my Eneloops:)
A sharp looker for sure. 4A tint would be fantastic.
If the further specs meet or exceed my expectations i’m in!
Aloha, Uli
I like the look, interested but would like to know output numbers on an Eneloop.
Aww heck, count me in for one…not like I don’t have a light and it’ll probably be a shelf queen anyway unless I gift it.
I couldn’t have put it better myself
Count me in !
S**t, starting in high mode always is the dealbraker for me
I may be in depending on the ease of disassembly.
The S3 2x AAA was very annoying because the lens wasn’t secured and it would rattle, but I wasn’t able to do anything about it.

I would be in for the GB too! I like this one!
Interesting, do you mind sharing how you accessed the front o-ring?

if the GB price can goes near 20 pcs price ($15), will participate
Same here…
We’ve got some really tight folks! A decent XP-G2 on copper is just over $4, a 3.04A Qlite is the same. So for the driver and emitter alone is $8. Y’all arent willing to pay more than 7 dollars for that nice Stainless Steel host? Geesh, tough crowd! I’m glad I’m not making flashlights, Ramen and beans forever!
I’m thinking it’s a safe bet that there isn’t a soul on this forum that’d make that light and sell it for $15!!!
interested…!
I’m interested.
Keychain flashlights FTW!
