Could you recommend some decent quality batteries at a good price, I need a couple more and I know some of these sites are having great deals just not sure what to look for, thanks.
I’m more of a protected cell person. I like the double layer protection of the battery pcb + driver. I still haven’t tripped a cell’s protection yet, but it’s nice to have it just in case.
Anyway, I use these. I can’t comment to WallBuy’s shipping with liion cells, but they allow paypal and have always delivered on my non-battery orders.

I’ve gotten at least 2.65amps off of them, but that was with stock DMM leads and may have been considerably higher. I just recently upgraded my leads and didn’t check that particular cell in direct drive. Keep in mind they are a considerably long battery and don’t fit in all flashlights. They do fit in my Convoy C8, and all my other flashlights except my xml zoomie that requires 2 of them in series.
These are of of the only **fire batteries to get good reviews.
I have 6 of them and they work very well, especially for the price and you don’t have to wait for a month to get them.
Or never get them at all with the wacky oversea’s shipping companies lately.
OK,
Got my Tangsfire today.
Pulls 3.52 amps on both the Trustfire Flames and on Panasonic 3400 protected’s. I do not have any IMR batteries in 18650 to try, but am confident it would pull more with them as is listed in the OP.
Anyway, fit and finish is very good, nice clean reflector, clean glass, small amount of lube on threads.
She is a keeper, very bright and has a nice defined hotspot. As with other lights with the East092 driver it comes on to high mode which suits me fine.
For the money I don’t know how you can do better. Finally a C8 that has good amperage right out of the box.
Tint is bright white but not purpley or green.
I may do a resistance mod with some braid on the driver spring and tailcap spring and remove the cap over the spring. Cap looks kinda cheesy anyway.
