Anyone know if the Sanyo 1450’s will fit in the ZL SC52?

I'm sure there's someone here who knows. I can't imagine the bare 14500s not fitting, but I'm not sure about the protected versions. I will post measurements of them once they arrive.

Good news! The package with the AMC7135 showed up today! Mailman had put it in the wrong box, wasn't stolen after all. Will be up on the site momentarily.

Happy to hear they came in
I’m just gonna start sending the retirement check to you

Dude, you owe your fellow human beings an apology for the low life thieving thoughts and comments! lol Glad it worked out.

You're right, I totally do! I apologize fellow human beings! Need to keep a more positive outlook. On the bright side, everything is up on the site. Also added a few switches and some shrink-wrap for your 18650 cells.

I thought about this - do you dedome LED’s too?

Might be a nice offering, can’t get that anywhere else.

Hmm…that WOULD be interesting. Wish there was a way to protect a dedomed LED…is there a way?

Yes, I will be offering a few things like this in the near future. The big issue is packaging; when you dedome the emitter it becomes much more fragile due to the exposed phosphor, bond wires, etc. I will tape a hard "dome" over the top of the star. I also will test every emitter after a dedome to ensure functionality.

The problem with this is it's expensive if you're only doing a few LEDs.

OK, you are officially ‘going the extra mile’…‘exceeding all expectations’…‘insert another cliché here’…

You are such an asset to BLF, Richard, thanks!!

Have you used this stuff? That would solve a big problem for me if it truly protects the wires on dedomed emitters!

I will also have to look into the LED seal. I will be doing more than just a few emitters in the long run so it would probably be worthwhile.

Why not just do what IOS do? Put the emitters in film-canisters, or perhaps short sections of heavy cardboard tube? With the latter you can have two sizes, one for 20mm stars and one for 16mm stars.

I haven't used it. I think it was Gords who wrote about it somewhere here.

What are you showing us comfychair? :~
Your dedome looks to be missing some phosphor & its bond wires?

Not missing anything, that's a reflection from the shiny layer of LEDseal.

This is a spectacular dedomed!
Can you explain the steps to get to this?

thank you!
