The 7034 is one of my fave knives of all time. Incredibly light and the locking mechanism ingeniously stores just enough kinetic energy that it flips open like a spring assist with NO wrist flick. The handle though is an acquired taste. 
I’ve been close to buying one of those many times, at the moment it’s about number five on my “to buy” list but could be moved up, I’ve got to get one of the 7046 LTE’s though. I’ve been watching the Real Steel brand (Higher End SanRenMu) for a while and I want to try that blade shape out, without snapping one of my blades that is. :bigsmile:
I have a few Real Steel knives and will write reviews about these (T3000 mutitool, T96T, M6, M21 (bigger brother of the SRM M21, E963 (bigger brother of the SRM763)). First in german, and maybe I will translate these later into english. Here is my first about the M6

The scales on that are very similar material to one of my knives, CRKT Hammond Cruiser , Feels really grippy but comfortable at the same time.
So how are the metals in these knives? Do they hold a decent edge?
The one I linked was both the sharpest knife I’ve ever received out of the box, as well as has held the best edge of any knife I’ve owned.
I use it for opening cardboard boxes every day, cutting fiberglass box straps, etc. so normally my knives don’t hold an edge too long!
I’ve even used it for cutting drywall!!! lol.

The steel is AUS-8A, or 8cr13mov or 8cr14mov, the heat treatment on SanRenMu is extremely consistent and good quality. The only thing I don’t know about is that these new SanRenMu knives I believe are possibly fake SanRenMu’s made by a different factory, 8steve88 has vouched for their quality, but consistency is another matter. I just hope they’re a second production run of the original SanRenMu’s, and that if they are “fake” SRM knives that the quality is there, they claim to use 8cr14mov which is actually a step up from what SRM used to use. They are listed on the www.sanrenmu.com website which is a fake sanrenmu website which was used to sell the 9-series of SRM knives which were fake large SRM marked knives. I’ll be buying them for sure though.
I’ve been wanting one of these for a while now, I really like the design. The blade is elegant, and the handle looks really nice and original. I love them. I just had a look at their facebook page and their new model range looks to be extremely good, Sandvik 14C28N steel. That’s going to shake up the market for sure. They seem to be especially well known in Germany so I’m not surprised that you’re German, I don’t know why that is though. Even their Facebook page is German. I guess maybe they had a worker there who spoke German who spread info about them on German message boards etc. rather than to English ones.

It wouldn’t surprise me, one thing about this Real Steel company though is they are really aiming for a higher market, not quite the same market as the “fake” benchmades etc. which are around $50-150 which use D2 steel and basically produce exact copies of really high end knives, but they’re in the vicinity of $25-50, a bit overpriced if you ask me, but their latest models are apparently going to be made with 14C28N Sandvik steel which would totally shake up the market, it looks like an amazing knife too:

I can’t help but notice that the “Real Steel 963” is identical to the SanRenMu 763:
More recently a company that claims to be SRM but probably isn’t posted this knife recently to FastTech, again a copy of the 763, but with a very similar colour scheme to the Real Steel 963, I’m curious if the Real Steel company is the same one producing the “new” SanRenMu’s, or if there is yet another company involved. We need Sherlock on the case, lol.

I quite like the looks of the RealSteel H6. Seems quite functional yet kinda cool… Also I get a strong “Ganzoish” feeling from it…
Whenever I’ve seen rainbow steel knives I’ve always thought they were crappy, but the Pandora actually looks really nice, with an elegant but simple design. I might get one after all, even if it is a bit of a gimmick. They’re pretty. _
I’m guessing very average quality, 7cr steel which is AUS-7, 56-57 HRC, generally reserved for slightly cheaper knives. For such a simple design I would expect it to be functional I’d suppose!
I asked the same question on their facebook, I’m genuinely curious. It seems the steels they can get in China are limited, with 9cr18mov being the best stainless steel they have due to it being used by the military. It’s basically 440C but with slightly more carbon and less resistance. Although thinking back, the www.sanrenmu.com company that sold the “fake” SanRenMu’s also lied and listed the steels they used on some of their knives as 12c27sandvik, when it was 8cr13mov, but they seem to be pushing the boat out a lot more with this new model so I’m intrigued. If it’s under $40 then it would be a great deal, but I doubt it will be, Real Steel are quite overpriced.
I thought I read somewhere a couple years ago that SRM was saying they would be open to making some models with high end steel but they weren’t sure that people would pay the higher prices. I sure would. The Benchmades just look a little too bulky to me, so if I could get a GB-763 with high end steel, I would definitely pay close to what the mini grip costs. The only issue I see with paying more for high end Chinese knives is that the chances of getting a fake go way up the more money something costs.
I’ve always thought of Real Steel as being SanRenMu’s “top of the range” line.
If you look at the Poll on the right hand side of the page one of the choices is “No way to pay more than forty bucks on a Sanrenmu knife”.
I’d really like one of those T08’s.
