Push button until light is in low mode and remove finger from button.
With finger off button, when the lights blinks, half press button for 6 to 10 seconds then remove finger from button.
You should now be in the other mode.
Did finally get an answer form BG on my orders, they say both orders have shipped, Nov. 20 and Dec. 3 which would be about 4 to 5 days after the orders were placed. They said you have to be logged into your account when you place the order for the order to show up under your account. Not sure if I was logged in or not on those orders.
Same here

So tomorrow I’ll email them again.

They did the same thing to me with two different Klarus lights. My orders would say ‘processing’ then return to ‘back order’ and after about a week of bouncing back and forth I cancelled them both. I really wanted this Roche light too but I was worried my order would meet the same fate.
Normally a company gives a ridiculously good deal to bring new customers on board, where they will stick around and presumably spend more money on things which aren’t on sale. BG seems determined to scare all their customers away. Someone should teach them basic marketing. About the only one of these companies I will deal with these days is Fasttech. I’ve had a few letdowns with them, too, but so far no integrity issues like with BG. I’m more likely to be tolerant of honest mistakes, which I don’t believe these BG back order issues are.
I had been checking this one out for a while through several different sites with different lumen ratings - anywhere from 500-1000, so even though BG said 500, who really knows until you get it I suppose I was just hoping for the higher end. Using the SC600 as a comparison of lumens only, I was able to confirm that the 500 on the Roche would be about right.
I just wanted to give others my intial perspective seeing as it seems most are still waiting for theirs. I have had more time to use it now and as with other Roche’s I have I am happy with it, especially for the price.
Either I don’t know how to work it, or I’m just plain retarded! lol.
How does the interface work? It seems as though they sent me a “momentary” switch. You have to hold it down for a minimum of quarter second or so, it turns on (perfect, every time). The problem is when you let go of the switch. 95% of the time the light will turn off (as if it was a momentary switch), the 5% of the times it stays on, I can click the button and it’ll cycle through the modes, double click for strobe and SOS no problem. Hold the button again to turn off.
It didn’t come with instructions, and the manufacturers site is no help Does this light have a momentary mode? Is it that picky about exactly when you let go of the button??
Sounds like yours may have a problem. I have to hold mine down for 1/2 sec to turn on and off. Once on, normal clicks cycle through, High, Medium and low with double click for strobe. Does this the same way everytime. I dont have any momentary on. An idea is to check the battery your using. I tried protected first which I couldnt quite get the head to screw down all the way and caused some erratic behavour but once I put in an un-protected cell and the head could be screwed down properly, no problems since.
