Tumbleweed, do you have a drill? A hacksaw?

Get a 1/2” wooden dowel, cut a slit into it the length of an 18650 cell with the hacksaw. (You might use say 6” of dowel, 2” or so for the groove) Slip a piece of sandpaper (cut the same width as the groove) into the groove with about an inch sticking out one side and wrap the sandpaper around the dowel. Might have to wrap another sheet on top of that to get the right thickness or a larger dowel to start with. You can always thread a bolt into the dowel’s end for mounting in the drill if necessary. (Like if you have a 3/8” chuck in your drill, you could drill a pilot hole in the end and then thread a bolt in, mount this bolt in your drill. The truer you hole the easier to spin faster.) Slip this sandpaper wrapped dowel tight into your battery tube, spin it slowly or moderate speed to sand the inside of the tube. Voila! Adjusted fit to your cells!

Anybody can do it, really easy.

Great tip and very well explained!

I once bought a Taurus 7 shot .357 Magnum that the cylinder cartridge holes were too close tolerance. Shoot a couple of rounds through it and the third reload the empties were stuck. Sent it to Brazil and they said it was within spec. So I used this technique to open it up the slightest bit and polish the chambers, no more issues.

Might help to mention that it was a Titanium gun. The Ti didn’t handle the heat well at the chamber’s with thin walls and repeated shooting. At least not when it was too close. Would have been a fantastic little gun with a 5 shot cylinder and some meat between the chambers…

Thanks for all of the support! Been keeping me very busy :)

Excellent customer service! Maybe too good. My wife ordered me some goodies for Christmas from my Christmas list… She was flustered, when I talked to her on my lunch break. She received a message back from her order to see where she wanted to have the 7135’s stacked - more on the side of the MCU or some on the side with the spring. “What the hell is a 7135? Does it matter with the MSU -C whatever! Agh why don’t you like normal stuff?” Bless her heart. She spoils me. Thanks for the help RMM. Merry Christmas.

I just read my last post, it almost sounds angry. I was aiming for comical. The customer service is excellent, contacting the buyer to make sure to offer the best set up for their individual build is awesome! The fact my wife couldn’t understand the words was hilarious. I will be coming back to buy again. Prices are great and that level of service just can’t be beat.

No worries :) Your driver turned out really nice, I should have taken pictures of it to use as my showpiece.

It may be on my end, but I seem to be having issues viewing many pages on your site. :frowning:

“Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.”

This pops up on 2/3 of links clicked.

It's not just you. Been having the same issue sporadically since this morning. It is a server issue, running real slow. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Unfortunately it's not just at your end. Seems like the server has been running intermittently slow all morning. Expected to be back to normal soon.

unknown, works fine on my end, as evidenced by the array of goodies coming on my last order.

Working fine on my end (though BLF is being really slow today).

Thanks, fast and all in perfect shape. The V4 is now my high end light.

If only you could do XinTD Skyray host with killer 3-6 led driver, choice of tints and stuff like lighted water proof switches to roll your own Skyray. Well, at least offer the 34 day delivery with smashed box option for the nostalgic

I know it's a hassle, but I would really appreciate it if those of you who have purchased items from the store could leave brief reviews of those items. Hopefully the information will help future buyers make a more informed decision and I think it will really help make the store feel more complete.

Thanks!
Richard

I have a cheap beater C8 in the mail so will only mod that one. I agree with Foy, some lights are better left alone…so until my driver mod knowledge improves, I will leave the XinTD alone other than for work light.

A few new items that will be added to the store soon (no definite ETA, but are already ordered:)

  • Efest 14500 V2 (button top) IMR
  • Efest 18500 V2 (button top) IMR
  • Efest 18350 V1 (flat top) IMR
  • Convoy M1 Host
  • EDC Host (Convoy S3 host without badge)

I also have a ton of restock stuff on the way. Thanks for all of your support! As always, questions, comments, suggestions, requests, are welcome.

Getting harder to resist now!

Glad that BLF is back online! :)

Keep those reviews coming, they will greatly help those who don't have as much experience with this stuff as most of you do.

Got my 3040mA Qlite + chips and omten switch. Love how they came packaged, Richard.

I’ll be happy to post reviews, they will have to wait until after Xmas. You can count on it.
