I would most certainly have the driver replaced ver soon after inital tests. Perhaps with the KD 2.8 linear one but with an amc 7 somethign chipped off for 2,5A instead.
Also is there a possibility to order the (preferably unbranded) flashlight body for this one? I would not mind building one on my own. Would buy several for experimenting then more perhaps if decent enough.
We always ship the pakages by HK registered post to secure the safe arrive, as this light is abit heavy, im afraid i can not offer free shipping for this lights.
But 30usd free shipping is possible.
If you do have interest in group buy, i'd like to make it easier. How about this way?
Don't forget to include your BLF NAME and Specify payment for T9.
Don't forget to include the correct shipping address . Since it's not a purchase in our webstore,we'll ship according to the shipping address in your pp account.
3. I ship the order in two days by HK registered post after getting the payment.
Sorry, this run has no spare hosts left, maybe next run we can supply some.
BTW, This week we'll have some flashlight host kits and torch components (e.g reflectors, lens) to release, i think flashaholics like you may have interest, And a big flashlight shell for 3xXM-L T6 will be released soon. You can check our website by then.
Hey, Ric! While the shell idea is nice, and I’m glad it is possible, I think what we’d all like to see even more is the 3*XM-L drop-in made available so we can use it in Maglites or Tr-1200’s or whatever it would fit. 52.8mm would be nice along with the same driver that’s in the skyway.
Yeah, I know. I just wish they would not get my hopes up. These drivers are becoming my #1 pet peeve. If I remember right the low isn’t that low either.
USD30 with HK Registered shipping is good. Paypal sent.
They sent out my Yezl M7X within 2 days. Nice.

Not sure what's the use for low on a light of this nature. For flood light, the low is already low enough as its "spread out" - not very bright. I don't use the low on my Dereelight DBS aspheric. :)
I only hesitate to pull the trigger until I see from others how it performs with the bigger lens. I put a 28.5mm aspheric on my L2 (xm-l @ 2.8A) and the focus was perfect but it was dim as hell and not worth crap. The worse thing ever. If this turns out good I'll get one ASAP.
If you have any zoomies at present , cccpull, then take a look at the lenses on them. The lenses on all zoomies are aspheric, that's how they are able to zoom. Moving that lens closer to or away from the emitter simple changes the focus of that lens.
