Overview: All Eneloop batteries 2005-2024

I wonder if Costco will carry the latest "Panasonic" Eneloops. I'd like to get some..

Maybe everyone has already seen this, but Amazon has Eneloops, 8 AA for $16.98, 8 AAA for $15.99. Might be interesting if you order enough stuff to reach the $35 free shipping. 1900 maH/1500 charges variety.

to whom it may concern

the official Eneloop Gemany FB page is this one:

i asked them about 4th gen cells and they said that the release be not planned yet therefore they could not tell me any specific date blablah ballaballa.

anyway i expect to see them in Europe on April 1st 2014 ;)

Can anyone comment on whether these Eneloop AAAs on Amazon are 3rd gen The description looks right but the crown in the pic seems off. I have never owned Eneloops and I want to try them out.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,

Read this at cpf:http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?362641-Confusion-of-each-Eneloop-generation&p=4323530&viewfull=1#post4323530

They seem to have 2nd gen wrappings in 3rd gen packaging.. some say the batts are 3rd gen but something went wrong with the transition from 2nd gen to 3rd gen, an placed the wrong wrappers.

I'm also selling real eneloops, the latest available,4th generation 100% the real deal!

If you are interested see my for sales thread here on BLF.

Don't buy through this link.

smells fishy to me.

I get my blister-with-blue-case Eneloops through the Europa importer iCell Limited.

Thanks ChibiM, the post you linked was to the same Amazon page I was looking at. It does look like their image was the only accurate element on that page full of fraud. I was thinking it was just an old image with newer merchandise.

Thanks kreisler, I am in the US to I can’t use your link. The 5 pack seems nice, I haven’t seen that before.

What about these bundles

Are the chargers okay? Do they charge each cell individually?
I am looking for a dumb charger for AA and AAAs.

fyi,
I just received my 3rd generation eneloop batteries from ebay seller 1111deals. They bodies of his listings weren’t updated so I contacted him, he told me to use these Item Numbers: AA-181129231052 and AAA- 180577351972 for 3rd generation.
I am new to eneloops but the packaging shows 1800 charges, the crown is correct, the spelling looks good. The AAAs are marked hr-4utgb, manufacture date is 13-06. The AAs are hr-4utgb, manufacture date is 13-04.

thanks for sharing!!!
But I caught a little mistake.. see the red ;)

where and for how much?

I got them from…
http://eu.nkon.nl/sanyo-eneloop-aa-aaa-batteries/8aa-sanyo-eneloop-tropical-in-blister.html

I would have asked you to get them for me, until I saw they’re for the European market only.

BTW… I understand these just hit the market a few weeks ago.

How is it they’re labelled as Sanyo Eneloop, and not as Panasonic (not that I’m complaining or anything)???

I keep finding places to use them and need some more 4th gens!

Any chance you have 3 AA 8 packs and 1 AAA 8 pack?

Thanks!

Jon

Yes, I do.. Please see my sales thread.

Search for ChibiM eneloop sales, and it should come up in of the first search results.

Does anyone have the official press release for the EU distribution of 4th gen Eneloops?

Good news for the rest of the world!

They can get them locally!

@ the same time a little amusing that I can sell 8 packs for even less than a big shop in Europe..even after my PayPal,exchange losses, and shipping from Japan.

So I might continue selling these 4th gen. Untill the prices drop below my prices, that it's not worth for me to keep selling them. But maybe at that time we will have 5th generation ;)

Always in need of some Chibi eneloops. At least we’re not going to get fakes!

Found 4th generation Eneloops in a retail store (Microcenter, on the outskirts of Philadelphia); in 4-packs and 8-packs.
They have AAs packaged with chargers (two different kinds of chargers… they looked cheap); and Black XX in both AAA and AA.

I was even surprised to find some Tenergy LSD D-Cells.
