This is a protected 18500 battery.

The batteries does have exactly the rated capacity.
5A is a bit high for this battery, it is better used at lower currents (Like 2A).

Conclusion

The capacity is as expected for a 18500 battery.
I will rate the battery as acceptable.

So that 1500 number is legit?

Yep, looks like it.

The only thing I was a little non-excited about is the very humble "acceptable" score it gets..I thought it deserved more than just acceptable for this battery.

But maybe I don't read the graphs good enough.

It looks like it doesn't loose too much capacity at 2 -3 amps.

I’ve been using these for awhile now without knowing actual capacity at different currents… Looks like these are quite good for my needs though. I’m also glad to see they can push 3A perfectly fine.

Try checking how I give the scores, it is not for capacity.

Hi HKJ, I tried, and couldn't find it in the thread, I probably miss the skills to decipher the graphs!?

Anyway, thanks for testing these cells!

It is at the bottom of the linked article about how I do the tests: http://lygte-info.dk/info/Batteries2012Info%20UK.html
