18 x XM-L Flashlight is in the town!! Someone has just up the game!!

Here you go!
Ultrafire 18T6 @FASTTECH!!

I remember someone in this forum (forgot who) said he would wait until 18T6 flashlight come out, and now it comes true.

I would say I expect 21T6 to come out next!!

EDIT: 1) It has side switch.
2) Edit the title

Wow, could this be brighter than the X60?

I will NEVER understand the Chinamen, and their damn fascination with plunger lights.

ā€¦and 5 mode drivers, and next mode memory, and etc.

Imagine a 15Hz strobe with this! :open_mouth:

Only if you swap in green LEDs. My head hurts just thinking about it.

i suspect they just want to use up their xm-l chips
there are not enough batteries to run this thing to its full potential (assuming that wonā€™t go poof when you hit the switch)

Now mod this to run 4 - 5 amps to each emitter on a massive copper plate hybrid with CPU liquid cooling with a remote battery pack, maybe a 1000 CCA (Cold Cranking Amp) Deep Cycle RV battery mounted in a back pack. Might make a good flooder. J)

now your talking, but getting maximum possible output would cost a lot of money, xm-l2 on sinkpad/noctigon, i wish companies would start making high Ah NiMH, but any battery that can put out the amps would get well over 20,000 lumens with CPU liquid cooling!

You could buy a Tesla and remove the fuse from the cigarette lighter :

Iā€™m amazed that it doesnā€™t have a bottle opener on it.

ā€¦and what exactly would you want to ā€œilluminateā€ with that kind of flood power? Neighbourā€™s Backyard? and one more thingā€¦what is wrong with ducttaping 18 convoys S2 ā€œin paralellā€ā€¦ J) at least it will be slightly cheaperā€¦

In the specifications:

Lumens (max) 12000 lm
Power consumption: 10W

I want some of those 1200lm/W ledsā€¦

If each LED is being pushed with only 0.75A, gives about 300 lumens, it can easily produce >5000 lumens at around 40W (someone please check my math)!

what do we want to illuminate today?

i am willing to wait for next generation emitters that will have more lm/w and more impressive outputs per chip but there are never too many lumens

More Lumens the better ! i do alot of night Geocaching, backcountry camping, canoeing, boating, biking, etc. and have a high diet of lumens per day.

Saft has some 70+ amp NiMH D cellsā€¦

can you provide some links?

Nope, got a data sheet from a local battery shop a while back. Canā€™t find it. I think the Imidion D cells do 40-50 ampsā€¦

Now at ebay

I wonder if anyone is going to get this light and make a review of it?

These multi-emitter lights are getting out of hand! When will to many be too much? One of us needs to go a head and build a 100 emitter light. Iā€™m happy with my 12 emitter lights.
