This light will only accept unprotected batterys? Or unprotected will only work with the 1/8 turn “trick” , not sure what you mean ,
Can only use unprotected batteries. The 1/8 inch turn for lockout will keep you from accidentily turning on the light while carrying in the pocket.

i did the same and got a refund from a dispute as they wouldnt answer my emails or paypals claims.
its a shame - ive done a few other orders with them that all came through just fine
maybe just because of the holiday rush or something

Just picked up my F6 too! Not very happy about it, everything’s OK in low and high mode but medium is unusable, bad flickering going on. Not talking about pwm, just flickering like bad electrical contact. Anyone else got that problem?
EDIT: Tried to catch the flickering using my phone and the difference between medium and high mode seems to be the flickering, the amount of light put out is the same. Bad driver I guess? Time to send BG a question 
One of mine did that flicker bit for a second, after that everything is fine now.

Great light, really love it. It easily takes protected NCR18650B´s indeed.
Only banggood forgot to add my charger head, so I´ll just have to wait longer again for my whole order to be completed.

I have contacted BG and they wanted photo’s of what I got and the packaging. So I’ve provided them and see how they will handle it.
I got a pink slip in my mailbox ..So I went to the post office to pick up my new Roche F6.
Opened the package and there was no Roche f6 at all it Seems as if a company named Fasttech stole my roche and replaced it with a Sunwayman V20C Y
Guess I'm still waiting on the F6..Any bets on whether the charging head arrives with the light ?
