DQG SPY 10110 Titanium Alloy with Trit

LOL

I consider this a real key chain light.
But I’ve never heard of 10110 before……

Ya If this is confirmed to have an xp-g2, and I can see photos of the trit installed, I am interested.

It also depends how this battery can be charged.

oh holy ***k! :X

i am out.

i am out. i am out. i am out!! :p

So tiny! And Ti! Love it. Cannot justify it even for a second, even wanting too really badly!

Got to be one of the cutest light I’ve seen

Cute little bugger but like everyone says, where the heck would you get an extra 10110? I did a net search and no one has them. Heck, even cnqualitygoods doesn’t sell them!

Just cut a 10440 into 4 pieces

This is a cute little flashlight, but just too small and too expensive to be a serious rival to 16340 lights.
I bet I would loose that one pretty fast :stuck_out_tongue:

@Horst Horstmann:

Hopefully Ric will offer extra batteries with purchase. After a little research I think some of cottonpickers chargers will work fine with these little cells since he has some moderate amp ones using wire leads and magnets.
But extra batteries is a must to me. $50 is pretty expensive to begin with and I’d be pretty upset of my one and only cell died 6 months down the road and I was stuck with a $50 paper weight.
So Ric can you offer extra cells with purchase?

Going to need a custom charger. 27mA or less charge rate. Charge it higher and you’ll be degrading the cell.

They don’t even give the 10110’s capacity. 10180 is under 90mAh so what is 10110, about 54mAh? 0.5C would be 27mA.

With 20mA low & 300mA high, I’m getting runtimes of less then 10 minutes on high, 162 minutes (2.7 hr) on low.

Took me a while to see it too. It’s in the last image.

The tail has two holes and two scalloped indentations. One hole (the one on the right) holds the split ring for keychains.
The other hole has the trit mounted between the hole and the center (magnet?) post.

Edit: image added to avoid word fumble. :stuck_out_tongue:

You’d think for such an expensive light, better pictures with more details would be in order. I too could not identify the tritium marker. How about a picture of the battery and maybe some mention of the charger needed if it isn’t supplied with the light.

I know you’re being facetious, but honestly… after I bought 3 of those 18650 DQG in ‘titanium’ as groomsman gifts and getting burnt by the intermittent switching and poor anodization.

I’ll still buy his stuff, but no more first (or even second) gen products unless they’ve got sparkling reviews and pics up the wazoo.

Don’t you think it needs an MT-G2?

At least we know they are available other places.

Great news that it uses a 10180 cell

Yeah, they’ve changed the description now to say it takes a 10180 instead of a 10110.

Yeah, think I might need one now

Yes the 10180 makes a huge difference. Still a bit of an investment though buying the light, extra cell or two, and a low amp charger.
But I still want one.

The DQG Tiny 18650 II has me totally aggravated with RIC. He sent me the wrong tint and I'm stuck with it, the pocket clip is useless (too stiff), and I can't get the thing to change modes reliably for beans -- actually it's embarrassing to show it to anyone, or to even use it in front of anyone. As a modder, I can't see much I can do with the damn thing without ruining it, and there's nothing I can do about lousy threads. All these problems were reported on the first version, so what did he fix on version II?

This light appears to be 1/2 way there the same way... I even won one of his 30% off Black Friday deals, and picking between a DQG or BTU, I saw nothing I was willing to take a chance with -- never used it. The truth is his stuff looks attractive, but doesn't quite work so well.

Why would you launch a $55 light today with a XP-G and not a XP-G2? Just doesn't seem right, something is wrong here.... I believe the designs are not well thought out, or they have a poor design process from prototyping to production, or poor hand-off and communications to production, or all of the above.

As many of you know, I've bought quite a few Shockers from him, and modded a few others, and he can't even send me a replacement LED centering piece that will fit a Shocker.... I'm very frustrated in so many ways... Buyer beware is the rule here.

I thought my Inova Micro was expensive for such a little light. But nice that it is metal and has a trit.
