Banggood, when should I open dispute?

It depends on your trust on seller.
If they donā€™t reply inquiry, donā€™t trust them.

Donā€™t wait for the last day, as itā€™s far too easy to get busy, make a mistake, take the kids to the dr, have a family emergency, etc.

Unless your life is uncommonly stable, Iā€™d give yourself an extra day or two of breathing room.

If they havenā€™t responded to your emails then Iā€™d say go ahead and start the dispute. They did that back order BS to me but they were really good about the refund when I asked them, so I didnā€™t need to open a dispute.

Thanks for the replies. They finally got in touch and said it is now in stock, and will ship. It never said not in stock, nor got a notice saying it was on back order, I just happened to check the status of something else and saw it was back ordered.
I was really wanting this, so maybe I will have it in a couple weeks.

I had a similar experience, i made my one and only order and never got any e-mails acknowledging the order, no replies to e-mail so i PMed them here, they replied but i had to keep messaging till they would check to see they got my order (they had and shipped it but i had no way of knowing that).
It comes with a 2 year warranty but i have no proof of purchase so lets hope i never need to use it (its only a $20 item but still), but i wonā€™t order from them again, iā€™ll just get someone else to price match.

For those who donā€™t get replies check your spam/junk email folders as given their name thatā€™s where they frequently end up

Also their live chat works nicely, used that twice recently to cancel an order and split another one, nice and easy both times and much quicker than emails

you mean they actually answered their live chat, i tried it for 4 days before giving up
my spam folder had nothing, i always check it every few days before i clear it and unless they hid it inside an offer of 40 million from a prince it was not there

You mentioned there may not be enough time for it to make it through the mail before the 45 day window closes. At that point I would rather get a refund & reorder.

Open the dispute right away no need to wait till the last minute. I failed to open a dispute from another vendor and learned the hard way.

I cancelled one of shipment(my first order) from BG as it was back-order for more than 1.5 week. I contacted them through online chat and the operator was able to process the cancellation without delay. System reflected ā€œorder cancelledā€ within 1 day and Paypal refund by 2 day.

I need an advice.
opened a dispute for order that did not arrive and today is last day to escalate, BG (today) asked if I want refund or if I would like for them to resend the package I chose ā€œresendā€ but what now, should I close this dispute or escalate???

Thanks

Personally I would escalate. In the future choose refund, there isnā€™t time to resend after a dispute is open.
If package arrives after paypal issues a refund you can still pay them again.

Send BG a message saying donā€™t resend. They likely arenā€™t quick enough to have already sent it.

the problem is that this particular package contained one paid flashlight and one free review sample that I would very much like to receive because it is an excellent flashlight

never say resend!

i have 2 orders (ebay) ā€œresendā€i dont know are there coming.
send they really by ā€œresendā€?

refund and buy again.

Well, today I received email from PayPal, they are refunding me a second order from BG.
Both orders were supposed to be review samples or flashlight with discount.
I think they never actually shipped them, just held my money for more than 2 months :expressionless:

how many PP cases did you have in the past 180 days?

Opened 4, closed 2 disputes because goods finaly arived after about 55 days :expressionless: and escalated 2 of them, all BGā€¦

thanks man!

your welcome herr kreisler :stuck_out_tongue:

I would take a PP account suspension as a sign to stop buying stuff from China for a while
Lately itā€™s been mostly just knives from Fasttech. Other than that, Iā€™m pretty much addicted to Prime.
