Test / Review: Keeppower 16650 2000mAh (Black)

I get mine from Intl. Outdoor. (Sanyo) These things slide into anything that will accept a CR123. I use them in all my Quarks and other lights that AW17670 are a hair too fat for. If you don’t like stacking cells, get some of these.

does anybody know where to buy these batteries??

Anyone? I won’t like to get this as well.

It seems from Finland http://www.akkula.fi
I have ordered some 16650’s, I have no connection with the seller,
but this is the first website i have seen selling keeppowers.
Thought i would share the (hopefully) good news.

HKJ: have you confirmed your pack contains 16650’s?

Anybody ever determine if the 16650’s can be had in the HP spare 633805-001 battery packs? I located new one (4200ma) that states 6 cells in it for $24 shipped. I see they have a 5200ma? battery pack also, but it may contain 18650’s for all i know???

No, the guy that using the computer will not let me disassemble the battery pack.

BUMP

Tick "protected". They are made by Keeppower and are almost as good.

Yes but I need another source.

very interesting…. this would make for a great option in my mini mag mod im planning…

i have one of those cheap chargers from intl outdoor that actually charges to 4.27 volts too LOL. (rated at 4.2 +/- 0.05v)… i guess its plus! lol.

Why?

Let me rephrase, I need another “cheaper” source.

Keeppower is not cheaper than Intl-Outdoor, they are usually more expensive. So far there are no protected budget cells but you can get them unprotected.

Ahem!

Keeppower 16650 Battery Built In Sanyo UR16650ZT Cell(2-pack)

Congratulations, you waited one month and saved one dollar. Also, they dont ship to all countries.

This is *budget*lightforum.com

Yeah, and I'm in Germany.. :P

How much would it be to buy the Hp pack, disassemble it, and add your own pcb’s and shrink wrap? IS has them but for $9.25 less BLF discount. Maybe they might organize a GB if prompted.

Or you could use the ISPower coupon code.

Right on top of it as always.
