26650 46mm head zoomie

where else do they sell these ? i cant read Chinese

They are sold NOWHERE else :frowning: If you don’t live in China/Japan, you can’t buy from taobao :frowning:

You can filter it through google translate and it makes it slightly more readable http://bit.ly/1na3dIX

If you get an asian girlfriend she might be able to help you pick out an item to buy and have it shipped to their family in China who will then re-ship it to you, or you can use an agent like I did ( http://yoybuy.com ).

Good luck man. I’m SUPER impressed with this light.

Looks similar to the tulip shaped head ones that you find on ebay sometimes (most of them that say 26650 lie but there are some out there, I got two), but with a reflector and less blue in the beam, nice. If they aren’t too expensive, maybe a group buy could work? Especially if they take an extension for 2x26650 and maybe….possible MTG2 fits?

What was the total price USD?

Can you take a pic with the extension on?

Is the lens glass or plastic? If it’s glass unfortunately I think I might have to buy one! :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you pulled it apart yet and taken any measurements of driver space etc? I wouldn’t mind putting an MT-G2 in one if there is room for an adequate driver.

It’s glass  I think that’s why the head weighs so freakin much. Not taking the head apart yet  lol.

I believe the total price was $50 USD including the re-shipping to me by Airmail Express (there may have been cheaper options).

It got from Taobao to Yoybuy in 2 days and Yoybuy ordered it the same day I gave them my credit card number. Super impressed with their service.

I agree, a group buy is in order!

You must have a popup blocker  lol.

Please set up a GB

Thanks for the pictures!

$50 is a bit too rich for me :frowning: even though it does look very nice

I see yoybuy.com has updated their website so when you paste a taobao link into the shopping cart it translates some of it into english, nice!

The direct “english” shopping cart link for this flashlight is http://www.yoybuy.com/en/show/19020830239/

I’m not sure if you need an account/be signed in for that link to work. If you pick “flashlight with extended barrel” that’s the flashlight with the extension tube, should be $30.25.

i will email few vendors in china to see if they will buy few for me and see how it goes

46mm is the bezel diameter, I guess the lens diameter would be same with the T20 give or take.

This might be a reasonable alternative. It’s a 48mm bezel, so the lens diameter will be similar.

Looks real interesting

It’s a zoomie and it has an expandable tube

It looks really interesting! And seems to be high quality.

these lights all suffer from a long focal length lens (thin) that makes a tiny hotspot, while the Uniquefire UF-T20 has a much shorter focal length lens (thick, curved) that gives a much bigger hotspot, with the same throw (in other words: more output without loosing throw).

The UF-T20 is still not a 26650 utilizer or with 2 batteries in series especially, this seems especially tempting for MTG2 use…

I searched the model to see what you were talking about and found there happens to be a Wallbuys group buy for the UFT20 in effect, a screw focus instead of push/pull, I had thought about it before but $17.50 is more tempting… WallBuys.com is for sale | HugeDomains

I don’t think you will be happy with the MT-G2 beam with an aspheric lens. I have tried a few different lenses on MT-G2’s and never really found one I liked at all.

I do like zoomies and if I could pick this one up cheap enough I would.

I like the mtg2 zoomie as a novelty item. The honeycomb-esque die is neat.
