Hi guys. I’m about to order my Shocker in few days, 1 week tops.
Few questions regarding shipping.
Someone here said, that even if you pick registered mail, as shipping option, they still might send it trough Fedex, i guess that could cost me around 30 euros +? i’m from EU.
If they ship it trough Fedex, and i refuse the payment when they deliver it to my door, will they keep my order (not give me the Shocker) until i pay, or they will still give the order, and ask Ric/CNQG for payment?
How much would it take to arrive to EU generally via other metods, registered mail post or whatever is the best (fastest free) metod, with tracking number, not more then 2 weeks i guess?
CNQG/FF sold out of the btu driver just after thanksgiving/end of Noverber. Ordered mine(btu driver) with a black friday coupon and a couple of days later they were sold out.
definately considering buying one of these now … for 100 this light will be great… it seems to have a decent amount of flood and definitely can light up anything in the distance …
yea thats what i would have got if i got no replies , is that a 2 pack or a single in that link? if its a 2 pack that’s a crazy deal, either way cheaper than my usual ebay battery guy
how many candle power does this out out? when i show my friends and ask them how many lumens they think it is they often say…. 1 million lumens?.. million!!! waaaa umm yea i wish… i dont think you know what lumens are…… but i think they are mixing it up with candle powers… so how many is this on turbo? 3000 lumen mode?
If you choose the XM-L2 U2 1B option it should gives you around that, but the lumens output will sag quickly though because they are using aluminum or some unknown copper star, which is inferior compared with Noctigon or Sinkpad. The choice of 18650 batteries is also one of the key factors determining the output.
There’s a lot of threads on lumens to cp conversion. One of the first results I found when looking this up was over at CPF. A huge thread with a TON of scientific explanation, and it went well over my head. I couldn’t say if it can or can’t be done, but I do know it’s probably easier to just say whatever number comes to your mind and add “million candlepower.”
Because most non-lithium powered lights that rival lights like the BTU Shocker are large halogen spotlights that advertise in candlepower, like my 10million cp spotlight that is similar to my modded DST except the spotlight is about 10 times as large and bulky.
