Tell you what, I will send it over for you to checker/knurl after I get finished with it.
Actually, I already tried that once. It didn't come out well at all. It's much nicer doing checkering on wood. I don't think I still have all the checkering tools. I believe I gave them to someone else.
I wish that l was smart enough to be an apprentice to the master and his apprentice. I love both of your works.
Your light is coming along amazingly creatively OL.
Love how you think up the solutions to the standard problems. All comes together so easily…well for us it appears to anyway! Well done, this should really be a nice looking light. Maybe you should collaborate with Scott and get it some custom made copper cooling fins? Jam for the sliced bread…
The best and cheapest place to get cool switches from is to place switches in the fridge for about two hours. For really cool switches they go in the freezer for about the same amount of time.
The switches are SMD momentary and come from Spark Fun. I solder them to XM-L stars, because the spacing is close enough to work. Not perfect, but close enough.
