Just another Copper Smoothie scratch build It's Done, with beam shots

It’s cold enough. Still better than August heat.

As with all your threads… subscribed.

I wonder if a sleeve could be utilized, slip a carbon fiber tube over the smooth body…

Just wondering, that’s all! No thanks on the checkering, last time I tried that my Glock 23 went full auto! EEK!

While the master works the apprentices watch.

I wish that l was smart enough to be an apprentice to the master and his apprentice. I love both of your works.
Your light is coming along amazingly creatively OL.

Other way around is more like it. Those fins you do are the best thing since sliced bread.

Love how you think up the solutions to the standard problems. All comes together so easily…well for us it appears to anyway! Well done, this should really be a nice looking light. Maybe you should collaborate with Scott and get it some custom made copper cooling fins? Jam for the sliced bread…

+1 - loving this so far...

I, as always, stand amazed at what you can do!! Surprised

Anxious to see the finished light!!

Dan.

Your a SICK man OL, and I love it!!!

Where do you get those cool little switches? And do they make one with the button on the side?

+1 and the cover Please!! Tongue Out

Dan.

The best and cheapest place to get cool switches from is to place switches in the fridge for about two hours. For really cool switches they go in the freezer for about the same amount of time.

Wise Guy huh, Why I oughta…

Do they ship them in freezer packs or do you have take dorky ones and chill them yourself?

Pardon the interruption, OL. We’re dealing with a wiseroo here.

I think our Aussie friend has stood on his head ...AGAIN.... just a little too long! Tongue Out

Dan.

The switches are SMD momentary and come from Spark Fun. I solder them to XM-L stars, because the spacing is close enough to work. Not perfect, but close enough.

The Rubber Buttons came from Fasttech.

Glad to see your new shipment of Meds arrived.
