Designed a board. 8*AMC7135 (split into 7+1 for lower lows), red & blue status LEDs.
I couldn't find the original tact switches, so I used different ones (those from the Small Sun ZY-T29). Correctly placing the switch might be essential; maybe adding a dab of glue to the button (to gain some length) can help, don't know yet. The driver might also fit into the ZY-T29.
I'll upload it to the fab later. And then wait...
Edit: uploaded. PCBs are being manufactured today (Jan. 29th).
My Charger head still have not arrived.
(Its been OVER 2 weeks now and still have not recieved it.)
Can anyone from BANGGOOD explain this ? âŚor should i write them off as a bad retailer and Black-list them for my future purchases ?
Do you think itâs the reflector rattling in my video (check two posts up)? It sure feels like itâs the switch but damn right, could be the reflector!! Weird that only ONE of mine does that!
Whoa damn! Put me down for one. Iâll get you to ship it to someone willing to swap it into my (defective) Roche F6!!! Just let me know when they are ready.
And if anyone reading this (in the USA or Canada) is willing to swap the driver on the F6 for me let me know
I also had a rattling flashlight (additionally to the missing charger head). The rattling doesnât stem from the switch, but rather from the glass (or maybe itâs plexi-glass) not thightly enough pressing onto the reflector (as toysareforboys suggested already). You can unscrew the silver part on top, itâs not glued and has a thread to re-screw it again. I used a bench-vise to clamp only the silver part and unscrew it that way. Once the top comes off, youâll get the glass, an o-Ring and the reflector. I put the extra O-ring that comes with it on top of the reflector (because at least my replacement O-Ring is thicker than the one originally used, the replacement one is supposed to be used for the body-thread) and reassembled the flashlight, and now the rattling is gone. Havenât documented the process, but itâs been my first time I had to tamper with a flashlight, so itâs very straightforward.
Also, at least judging from the video, you need to press the button for a second or two till the light starts up, those rapid presses you did wonât do anything even for working flahlights.
When I shot the new video I couldnât remember at the time what was wrong with the original one they sent me. The first one they sent me only works in momentary mode and youâre correct in that you didnât see it come on in the video because I clicked it too fast
Toys for boys ..Use a set of pliers on the ss bezel to get it loose .ifyou nick the ss just hit it with sand paper and then finer and finer and then buff it back to a shine . I broke out the pliers quickly and could have probably gotten mine with lesser means . The usual jar openers / non slip rug rubber wasn't working so I brought out the bigger gun My guess is a couple tuff rubber bands and channel locks . They have little rubber covers for them too if the rubber bands fail you.
There is no attack head they are trying to say you can order it with the charging head or without .. your option ...Why they add the pictures of stuff that doesn't come with this light is beyond me .
Wake up here banggood you are simply confusing people .
It's a nice light albeit somewhat finicky .
It comes with a clip and thats all . no extra tailpeieces or strap etc . just the light
Thanks for giving me the confidence to go at it I used channel lock pliers with a thick rubber band and was finally able to get the bezel off! Didnât leave any marks at all.
I moved the o-ring that was already inside the light from under the glass to on top of the glass and success, no more rattle!
I just realized i never recieved any âattack headâ either, if there is somthing that supposed to screw into the threaded base there was nothing in my package⌠was i missing another part including the missing charger head ?
