CLOSED! Group Buy: Starry Light SA-22 BLF Edition (NW emitter, better modes, faster PWM, BLF logo)

Can we get the body made of metal. And have it use 18650s as well as AA. If so, I will take 2 with the green LEDs. No, one green LED and one red LED. Thanks

That way you should pretty much look for the other lights especially the 18650 part.

hahahaha good luck, they won’t make more then minor changes, and even those have to be fought for, even my my idea about thermal power reduction is about as likely as being hit by lightning

Sure. Do you want fries with that?

But seriously: They are also planning small changes after which it would make coffee too!

I’m in for one if it proves to be good.

venti or grande?

I am in for one at least depending on the review

BLF logo + “where Frugal meets with Flashlight” on otherside

In for a couple.

The PA40 has a “carbon fiber reinforced composite body”, not sure what plastic they use though as they don’t provide much details.

The SA-22 uses PA66 (nylon 66)

From wiki:

I wouldn’t be concerned about the the threads holding if they are made well with good tolerances as its pretty tuff stuff.

Also I hope no logo will also be available from Ric if this goes through instead of BLF by default.

What about another model for us Tea drinkers?

0.2% of 880 lumens is 1.76 lumens which I would find pretty useless myself

Also any chance of OP reflector? That would be high on my list of wants for this light as it would eliminate any chances of a crappy beam pattern leading me to give it away and writing it off as a loss/wasted money.

edit The lowercase “h” in “STARRY LIGhT” looks like a unnoticed error by the manufacturer.

If this can make Coffee I will need a dozen, to go

Count the RicFlair inn for uno. Aka 1

Hey! Come on.. Please try to keep your requests reasonable.

Interested!!!

0.2% mode provides enough light for many tasks, and very long runtime (rough estimate would be over 17 days of light!)

OP reflector would be a nice addition, but I doubt it's doable. I'll ask anyways. (Stippling it yourself is always an option)

I suppose 'h' is part of their logo design, as it's that way in all the logos..

Count me in for one.

I’m in!

Seriously though, I’m in!
