The driver current specs could also be wrong, unless I’m overlooking something. If you get one with the ‘good’ driver it will vary drastically based on which battery you use. For instance, that tangsfire version is listed at 6W, but people have reported well over 4000mA on high drain batteries.
HD2010 is a great light but they always run them on special, picked up two TF versions from them in December and January for $23.48 and $22.49. Why waste a group buy on a light that’s always on special. Tangsfire and Fandyfire are equal in every way.
I like the looks too, better than the hd2010. But personally I don't care much for 26650 flashlights, it makes the light fatter than a 18650 model, and the 26650 batteries are not as much better as they are bigger.
There's two hd2010 lights at tmart on special for 25 dollars, so not much gain on those with a group buy I guess?
Ah, I see now, sorry : http://www.tmart.com/search.html?q=hd+2010 gives prices in euro's, the cheapest is 24.56 euro and that is over 30 dollars, my mistake
At this point, the majority seems to lean towards the HD2010. I can understand the desire to have one or more than one, as I need two myself, but I can also see the negatives. It does go on sale often and there is the driver lottery with it.
The rest seem to be hit or miss, so I am going to say that the HD2010 will be one that I ask the Tmart rep about.
They don’t sell host only. Tmart just sells stock lights. They have never gotten into the host/mod/component thing like some sellers. Actually, they are more like DX where they sell all kinds of items and flashlights is just a small part of the mass of items they sell.
