I assume it’s plastic, just like the PA40 (had two of those, gifted them away, still miss them…)
That’s why I’m looking forward to see manufacturer solving the issues -> we might be able to get a good clone for half the price.
The PA40 has a “carbon fiber reinforced composite body”, not sure what plastic they use though as they don’t provide much details.
The SA-22 uses PA66 (nylon 66)
From wiki:
Nylon 6-6 is frequently used when high mechanical strength, great rigidity, and good stability under heat is required. It is used for ball bearing cages, electro-insulating elements, pipes, profiles and various machine parts. Other popular applications are: carpet fibres, apparel, airbags, tyres, zip ties, ropes, conveyor belts, hoses and the outer layer of turnout blankets. Nylon 6-6 is also a popular guitar nut material.
I wouldn’t be concerned about the the threads holding if they are made well with good tolerances as its pretty tuff stuff.
Also I hope no logo will also be available from Ric if this goes through instead of BLF by default.

0.2% of 880 lumens is 1.76 lumens which I would find pretty useless myself
Also any chance of OP reflector? That would be high on my list of wants for this light as it would eliminate any chances of a crappy beam pattern leading me to give it away and writing it off as a loss/wasted money.
edit The lowercase “h” in “STARRY LIGhT” looks like a unnoticed error by the manufacturer.
If this can make Coffee I will need a dozen, to go

0.2% mode provides enough light for many tasks, and very long runtime (rough estimate would be over 17 days of light!)
OP reflector would be a nice addition, but I doubt it's doable. I'll ask anyways. (Stippling it yourself is always an option)
I suppose 'h' is part of their logo design, as it's that way in all the logos..

If issues are fixed, I’d be in for 2-4 with the T6 4C.

I personally hate OP reflectors, i would rather have more throw otherwise i can just buy a replacement reflector (no need so far) or use a smaller reflector light (convoy S2) since most of us have more then one flashlight
