I would suggest Fandyfire C108 , really like the design.

Cheaper at LightsCastle, $20.70.

Well there no point of grupbuy if the price would be the same as regular price.

TangsPower Cree XML-U2 5000LM 5 LEDs

What about this? I would really be fine with any of the lights that have been listed so far

Not with XM-L’s. And most certainly not without knowing what the driver was like.

it looks like the yezl y3 a very good light!

Well, there's no advantage negotiating a price without knowing what other sellers are asking for the item.

I like the suggested lights. Good thrower for the size and a low price would entice me.

AKORAY K-102
TANK007 TK-703 SKY RAY R5-S3 Anyway I could persuade you to mod the SKY-RAY-R5 for us?

Well if many want a HD2010, but several people don’t like the standard HD2010s, here’s one more unique and different that could satisfy both: https://dx.com/p/uranusfire-ur-816-cree-xm-l-u2-800lm-5-mode-white-flashlight-black-1-x-26650-224055#.UwQdl2JdVHU

Ultra Fire V2 looks like a toilet plunger. :Sp
Yezl Y3 looks nice, like an HD 210, but I’m not a fan of two buttons.
Fandy Fire C108 looks really nice. +1
The BeamTech BT-950L looks like a C8 with edges to tear pockets.
The Sky Ray R5-S3 looks like a McGizmo Haiku. I remember asking McGizmo if he would consider making one in aluminum once. The response he gave me left me feeling like he was saying, “Go away, piss boy. The rich are talking and you are wasting my time.” So I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get one out of childish spite.
Taste is individual, those are my likes.

I just saw the UranusFire post. LMAO! Actually the light looks good. I prefer the grey one. It might actually be good and a heck of a conversation starter. If we change the name to BLF-Fire or BLFAnusFire… Well then we really have something. So +1 for the Butt-burner

What about the convoy L2? It has some of that toilet plunger look to it but otherwise good for XML or MTG2 builds.

LOL

I do not mind having a cheap HD2010 as host.

SkyRay S3 like this?

R5 like this. Maybe if you scrape off the anodization and polish it up.

$20 but not a thrower. Be fun to toss an MTG2 into, assuming it can take some copper jammed down it.

Is that what you did, OL. Scrape and polish? It looks legitimate.

Removed the Anodizing with Greased Lightning and polished afterward.

I will tally all the votes in a day or two, but the HD 2010 is still the one most mentioned. I think it's become one of the staples in the Chinese light world, like the Sipik, the SRK and a few others.

An SRK like the one you just disassembled and tweaked but with 3 XMLs would be cool too. One that is easy to open. Then we could add on goodies like copper braiding on the springs, Matt’s driver with parts from MTNelectronics. Plus the uranusfire HD2010. The staples of flashaholism.

If you do go with the HD2010 are you going to look at a good light needing no mods or a cheaper light with the idea to mod???

My thinking is if we had a cheaper light to mod “We” meaning “You” could have the “The Old-Lumens On Line HD2010 Flashlight Mod/Upgrade Class”

I have watched the Old-Lumens Channel and learned most of what I know form it.
You do a great job on showing how to do mods and with everyone using the same light you would be helping a large number of members at one time.

Sorry to put you on the spot with this and not put it in the “Private Section”

Any way it goes I’m in for 2 of the HD2010 if it is the light of choice.
