I have ordered 3 pairs of flashlights from 3 different suppliers(WB,TM,SF) in the last 2 months. Same model for each pair, 3 different models in total. For all 3 orders, 1 piece will be in perfect condition and the other will end up will some flaws (dents, scratches or part failure).
Are they coincidence or some kind of unspoken practice(wild guess)? Has anyone experienced it?
Since I started getting into lights in the last 4 months I have always ordered in pairs , mainly to give one to my wife , they all seem to be identical and all work , but maybe I don’t know enough about it or I’m not as fussy or I’ve been lucky
The only time I got lucky, was when I ordered from Simon(SZ Ali).
This is a very interesting “experiment”.
Its kind of a random sampling from Paris wherein 3 suppliers from overseas and 2 of the same products(same model torch) were ordered that showed different quality.
All I can deduce from this is poor quality management in production which most of us already know.

Standard Chinese quality control, happens all the time. Sometimes buy multiples of the same light from the same dealer at the same time and they have different components. Like one has aluminum pill, one has copper pill and both were supposed to be exactly the same.
Not an experiment but a trend that I just realized. Nevermind, probably I was the “unlucky” one. I will order in single piece from now on.
