Has anyone else got the XM-L C8 from Tmart? I ordered one yesterday as it was on sale for $9~ and I had heard good things about other C8’s. It is now back up to $18~. I was just curious if anyone else got this one and if it actually comes with the XM-L T6. I have heard some people got a Q5 one instead. I have 3 lights that use the XM-L T6 and 2 that use a Q5. I really wanted a nice thrower. I have a 501B with the T6 and it is pretty bright, but I was hoping this would give me a little more range I guess. I’m still fairly new to all the lingo and such. The other 2 T6 lights I have are SK98 clones. The Q5’s are SK68 clones. Thanks for any and all help/responses.

Well my order came. The tail cap is giving me problems on the C8. Also, has anyone else seen the “spend $18 or more and get a free gift”? I was wondering if they are supposed to send you something for spending over $18. Otherwise my order came fairly quick as I ordered my items from the USA warehouse.

Honestly, it’s a bit naive to order 18th november and expect it to show up before christmas.
Did you get a tracking no for your order?

I had no problems. I orders a 18650 battery and charger combo. I ordered it just for the charger and it works. shipping was ok so no complaints here

TMarts main advantage, to us in the U.S., is that they ship some items from the U.S. If it has to come from China, then it is literally going to come on a “slow boat from China”.
Order an item that ships from U.S. warehouse - 5 to 7 days.
Order an item that ships from China warehouse and it will be at minimum 30 days. Probably more, because it will probably not already be in stock as in the U.S. warehouse. It will probably first have to be sourced, THEN shipped. That is why I believe we see these 7-10 days just to get an item shipped! Then the slow boat.

All online purchases should have a longer lead time than a late November order for Christmas.
Most retail (and wholesale) shopping outlets are super busy at this time of year. So are the transport companies that deliver to/from them whether land/air/sea.
This is a good time to support your local/interstate brick and mortar store.

Hi OscarM, I realize both companies Tmart and shipping companies are extremely busy around Christmas, and I wasn’t expecting, but more hoping for delivery by then, that is like 37 days, well here it is 1/10/14 and still hasn’t showed up, the tracking number says the same thing its said since Nov. 19th which states the item never left china, I pointed this out to Tmart 4 times and all get is a generic responds, so just for the heck of it, I’ve recorded the same light from there US warehouse, I’ve got no tracking number and that order is now going on three weeks, so I’m having no luck with uswarehouse either. I’m glad others are not having he same problems just be warned, there customer service is hands down the worst. Good Luck?

I eventually got the light that was on offer for 1p, about the right price, POS, like the company.

live chat I’ve found generally good but the answers I get from the emails are just useless and frustrating.

also who was the missing light shipped with? and where are you tracking it?

TMart service is fine until there is a problem,but do not expect any resolution when a problem occurs.I received four defective Tangsfire NIMH batteries and the same order was missing three battery cases.I detailed my complaint to them and then they sent e-mails to ask for details I had already told them.I told them I would not repeat myself and waste my time with their standard run-around tactics like I had experienced the last time I had a problem with them[like send us a video of the flashlight that does not work]My perception is that they have no intention of actually fixing a problem with their service,they just want to wear you down with e-mails and waste your time until you give up and eat the loss.Well I am cutting my losses.In the future I am done with TMart.There are other Asian websites with better prices,better items and I hope better service.

I never bought from tmart and never will, reading some posts here was enough. Though some older members here wanna do groupbuys from tmart, i don’t wanna go close to such a shitty service.

My experience with Tmart,
A total of six orders over 2 months all delivered with tracking number.
Torches and miscellaneous parts.
Delivered in Norway within a reasonable time.
Have got everything I ordered, and everything was in order.
This is just my order experience …. :slight_smile:

I got 3 good deals from them. One was a TangsFire C8 one poster had trouble with.

Any progress with your troubles with Tmart or are you cutting your losses for good?


I bought some 502s from tmart, which had this led and not xml.

Unfortunatelly, paypal asked me to return items and cover shipping cost. I had to pay almost the same amount of money their buy costed.
The thread here with the same case opened from another member has beed deleted.
This is annoying.

I have made four orders since 2013 from T-mart. Everything went ok. only have problem with SHARP EAGLE ZQ-SH-01 that didn’t work, but i got the light working. It was just the switch in the tail cap was loose. I screwed it in and it works fine. Can’t review their customer service as I didn’t need it.
