Callies Kustoms new 3100mAh 18650 batteries for sale now!

I took it down to 2.5v(+ or - .02v) and AFAIK it didn't kick in.

EDIT: After looking at the graph, I can't be sure. It may have kicked in right at 2.5v.

The international order webpage is now up.

Thanks everyone!

We just ordered another shipment of batteries... We also ordered some new high drain 18650 Panasonic batteries. These should be some really good performers! 2250mAh and 10A max discharge rate. They are manufacture rated for multi cell use and have very long life!

These cells where originally developed for power tools and medical equipment. Like all Panasonic batteries I would expect them to come in very close to their rated output. We should be getting them in within the next couple weeks hopefully sooner

PS... If anyone out there wants to review these batteries let me know, you will have to be able to do high drain tests and post graphs. Thanks

from everything i have read. worth the price of 4 TF flames? not to me.

"from everything i have read. worth the price of 4 TF flames? not to me."

Its like saying I could buy 4 Ford Escorts for the price of 1 BMW... Their really not in the same league. You will also note I am selling them for much less than the Redilast 3100's and less than the AW 2900. But thanks for the input!

and i agree with the escort vs bmw scenario. the difference is i can have one tf in my light and three back-ups in my pocket, but i cannot drive one escort and have three back-ups in the trunk. again, to each their own.

The Escort isn't a trustfire flame. It's more like an ultrafire 3000. It goes a while on a fillup, if you don't mind it taking a very long time to get there, and it failing in a month. But you can buy 8 of them instead of 4 or 1.

I guess I never did come back to this thread. I posted some discharge tests in old4570s thread on CPF. Nothing too extensive, a 3.1A and a 5A test. Any data is useful, right?

Good luck on your sales, as always!

" I am boycotting suppliers that will not ship to Canada... AW & Redilast will ship at reasonable rates."

LOL! #1 If a seller is not already shipping to Canada then what is the point of boycotting someone who won't do business with you?

#2 We do ship to Canada via Priority Mail !!!!

#3 Why all the negative comments on a SELLERS POST? Its like coming to my business and telling all my customers why not to do business with me while you have NO INTENTION OF BUYING ANYTHING! Guess what would happen to you

I actually had an Escort wagon for a couple years till it got rear ended. It was the classic old Grandma car in perfect condition with about 40K miles. The rear end was in perfect shape! The bumper only had some scratches, no dents the tail lights where not even broken. It buckled and was about 8" higher in the middle, the seat broke and the front doors wouldnt open. Ohhh good times

He did pretty clearly say no international shipping JUST YET, while he was working out the details :)

Besides, who says Canada our neighbors to the north, is international shipping? It's more like the 52nd state.

"Would those be the IMR cells everyone is talking about, XXLLMM?

If I'm not mistaken, they can also be charged at a much higher rate.

Will they be protected or not?"

From what I can tell their Lithium-Ion but not a standard Lithium. The information is kinda vauge as the the chemistry but they are "Solid solution technology" They claim they are as safe as IMR cells with the capacity of Cobalt based batteries.

Most IMR cells are rated at 15-20A discharge rates with a max capacity of about 1500-1600mah (my research) there is one guy selling 2400mah IMR on ebay but I did some checking and the numbers come back as 1500mah Chinese cells.

I think these are going to be great flashlight batteries for high drain lights. How many people really need a 20A discharge battery? I think the extra capacity is well worth the trade off.

Their going to be unprotected with shallow button tops so you can use them in multi cell lights.

Has anyone tried the 3100 protected cells in a Spark SL6 yet?

This light is picky about cell diameter.

"we really want to get some people to try these out so we are dropping the price to $13.95ea!"

In the above statement it should read some american people.

On the international site it's $ 23.90 for one protected battery.

Did I miss something?

For 13.95 I would order some right away, but at for 23.90 each I can wait. It says, the price includes $ 6.00 for shipping (that makes 17.90 for the battery, right?) Why? I'm confused. I really would like to have some, but not for this price.

Woohoo! Hand grenades!

4000mAh? Really? Oh wait, not really.

Honestly, this is a thread for Callies Kustoms batteries, not something you think we should buy.

My apologies.

Thank you. I just noticed they had specs for the unprotected cells and they are very similar to my older Panasonics that fit perfectly. Since I use a safe charger and my light has a low voltage cut off at 2.5 volts, I should be good to go with unprotected cells.

My only question about those is, what do I do with the tabs? Can they be removed without damaging the contacts?
