Fasttech - interesting new products - Flashlights, chargers, batteries and DIY and knives - please no discussions.

Knives:

Enlan M027 Stainless Steel + Pakkawood Folding Knife 54mm blade, $9,36. My link - non aff-link

the bigger brother Enlan Bee EL-05 Stainless Steel Folding Knife 72mm blade, $13,75. My link - non aff-link

Enlan Bee EL-06 Stainless Steel Pocket Folding Knife 92mm blade, $16,80. My link - non aff-link.
This is a big and nice knife. I have it since a few weeks and it works really smooth. Fasttech also have the black G10 version, with non coated blade for $15,44.

Ganzo G203 Stainless Steel Multi-Tool, $21,50. My link - non aff-link
I will recommend the larger models of the 300 series more, because they are more stable, but cost $15-20 more.

Sanrenmu 9054MUC-GP No Lock Stainless Steel Folding Knife 83MM blade. The GP is the green handle version the GH the black. Price $13,16. Teutate buy this on ebay for $18,90 and show some more pictures here. Important thing: It hasn't a lock, but it's to long for UK (3") if you do not modify it. Take a look at the thread of Teutate.

Ah, they now have the ‘strange fish’ knife! Thanks, Buwuve.

You know this how?

I have the UV-5R and it works like a champ…also the MTC UV-X4 which is a clone of the UV-3R, has a 5vdc charge port on the side (little spade that plugs in with a USB connector on the end)…maybe it has a li ion charger circuit inside

P.S. Open source programming program that is ALOT better than the chinese version CHIRP

Oh and this will also help too

One way would be by reading the Third paragraph of the image of Ed Griffin’s FAQ shown in post #1141. Another would be to Google it, which seems to indicate that is correct.

The Third paragraph of the image of Ed Griffin’s FAQ shown in post #1141 addresses that question.

And I suppose someone will mention it anyway, programming that frequency list into your Baofeng would be illegal, but in reality your chances of getting into trouble for doing it are almost NIL. However, unless you live in the USA, many of those channels would be useless to you anyway. The best way to summon help is call 911 on your phone, and if there is no cell reception and you have to use a radio, then you better be able to hit the local repeaters (for which you need to know not only the tones codes required to activate them, you also need to know the duplexed frequencies, and whether they are Wide or Narrow Band) The only duplexed channels in that are in that list are token GMRS ones that probably would not exist where you are, but you can check here you live in the USA.

Another note regarding those Fire Maple Stoves linked above. Looks like he missed the FMS-118. Even though it has a pre-heat tube on it, they do not work all that well in the cold because the tube is too small, so it splutters almost as soon as you invert the cannister. It looks like they added a second tube plus shielding to the FMS-100T, so I suspect it should perform a lot better in cold weather.

Thanks for the heads-up Buwuve, bloomin’ typical, I ordered two of the “strange fish” knives from another source for $19.99 each. I really should have waited but I’d only just put in a product request in, not that that makes any difference if the copy/past answers you get are anything to go by.
I like the look of that Enlan/Bee EL-06 as well but there was a bad review on youtube saying the scales looked painted with the camo and the thumb stud was very hard to use and uncomfortable, looking at the position of it in the pictures on FastTech I can see that it might take a bit of dremelling to uncover it a bit. It is a good looker though.

I think Fasttech is no longer interested in Flashlight products. If you notice all the new arrival products from 24th February onward are e-cig related items.

Daggumit…it was FT fault for getting those flashlights in while I was ordering my vaping stuff that got me onto this new hobby…they BETTER not bail on us flashlight folks!

or what? you will stop smoking  buaahahahaha

Smoking is much better/probitable addiction, users cannot stop buying new e-liquids and they are not as demandable as flashlightoholics also

EVVA 26650 3.7V 4500mAh Rechargeable Protected Li-Ion Batteries (2-Piece) max. 13A continuous discharge current. Price for a pair $24,98 (with BLF $23,73). My link - non aff-link

Not a flashlight, but it produces light: Fire-Maple FML-601 Camping Gas Lamp 80 LUX / 1500W firepower. Price $22,90. My link - non aff-link

Security Tracker LED Pet Collar Pendant Light 3*LR41. Price $2,11 My link - non aff-link

Roche F6 XM-L2 U2-1A 3-Mode (high, mid, low) 1700mA 1*18650 with a clip and two glass breakers. Fasttech wrote neutral white and 700lm, but it is a U2 1A (cool white) and 1700mA will not produce 700lm. I think 500-550 would be more realistic. But it has high, mid, low without strobe and sos :) Important: It supports only short batteries - round about 67mm. Most protected will not fit.
$23,96 (with BLF $22,76). My link - non aff-link.

This both are high drain batteries and of course unprotected like any other high drain battery on the market. But they are really shotz (round about 65mm) and perefct for modders and vapors.

I think many people want these and FT has only a few. Visit the page in a few days, maybe it will be in stock. It was the same with the Sony VTC4 (with only 2100mAh).

A few more convex lenses are available. I put in only one lin. You can choose each size with the drop down menu on the fasttech page (it's under the price). Use BLF to save 5% more. My link - non aff-link.

Wow! Just wow! No battery indicator? Not interested. What's the runtime like, 10 minutes?

Quite ugly, isn’t it?

I like it! I want to fabricate that into a headlamp! Cool

this light is sacred, it goes on top of your miniature house-temple and should be praised.

That would definitely call for a LiPo pack upgrade.

Literally a headlamp. You would have to ratchet strap it to the top of your head like an ultra lumen helmet. I’m busting up laughing here imagining how hilarious it would be to see someone walking/riding around with one of these strapped to their head.

You could have an extended switch running down your neck/shoulder/arm to your hand to switch into turbo to blind people who laugh!

Maybe we could get one with more emitters/heads and it could be capable of communicating with extra terrestrials like demonstrated in Independance Day.

(I actually do like the look of it for a handlebar bike light. If I rode at night I would be tempted to get one, your ‘bright lights’ could turn on all emitters and dim/regular could be 1-3 of them, pretty neat if doable imo)

Fasttech is able to ship batteries again? :expressionless:
