Well for you I did assume because you were posting on this thread. I sent out PM’s to everyone who hasn’t confirmed and only have a few left that need to get back to me. Then I can place the order again.
Just to keep everyone up to date. Everyone has contacted me and I am now placing the order again. Also I have to start over from scratch because my Spreadsheet wasn’t good enough. They have a specific Template for Excel 2007 that must be used. Another thing that would have been nice to have informed me of earlier.
MtnElectronics’ prices are great but the total cost goes up for overseas (outside US) buyers like me because of the shipping fees. I just wish there will be MtnElectronics ‘branches’ to cater to flashaholics from other parts of the world.
Thank you 18sixfifty for your time and energy you invested in this project :)
I got the refund 2,5 hours ago. I wanted 12 drivers and 5 emitters (maybe increase the number up to ten) - now I will try if Fasttech offers me the same prices as the "old" group buy prices.
Got my refund. Thank you for all the work you put into this, and sorry for how unprofessional FT has been throughout the ordeal. Even though their prices are still fairly competitive, I'm going to order the parts I need from elsewhere.
Thanks for trying. FastTech, if any of your reps read this, the way you have dealt with this is completely stupid. Also with an item that was faulty I sent back and you changed your mind on refunding as well. I’ve directed business away from you a few times already because of it, you’ve already lost much more than you would have lost dealing with these issues correctly.
I let them know I was good and ticked off. What gets me is that I know they lost money by not taking the order. Even at the price they quoted me they had to be making money. So why would they mess around and lose a $1,600 order and tick off a whole bunch of people? Lazy, greedy or stupid?
Also I had to have told them that this was for Budget Light Forum at least 30 different times. So they knew it was for a bunch of their customers who have been with them from the time they started out.
