Semur, can you clarify if the list above is just an informal reminder of who ordered, or the actual list of lights shipping out?
I also realize some members are displeased they don't qualify for every promo under the sun and have taken to petty retaliation in hopes that ruining things even a little bit for everyone else will somehow assuage their displeasure. However, I would recommend that they reconsider their behavior, because this forum isn't better served by alienating vendors who are at least trying to reach out to the community, even if they're not doing it in the most business savvy way.

If the above is referring to my post, I simply asked what the reason for the list was. I’m just reading the thread and asking a question. To be accused of petty retaliation and ruining things for everyone is a little insulting. I asked why is there a list that everyone must get their names on if the lights have shipped as DD reported in emails. Read my post. If the above was not directed at my post then my bad and carry on.

It's just a general comment about rather transparent behavior that you've also no doubt observe go on elsewhere. The prior promo wasn't all that well planned and it's understandable that some members were peeved, even though they've suffered no loss except perhaps their expectations. Since fixing problems after the fact is clearly not the best idea, so I just wanted to clarify things ahead of time. Hopefully everything goes well the rest of the way and everyone is happy with their group buy promo purchase.

Semur, can you give an updated status on the shipping for the remaining orders? It's been almost 3 business days and I have not seen any shipping notice from dinodirect.

About 70 orders have been sent out. And since there were too many headlamps we purchased from the factory, they did not have enough boxes to pack the lamps. But please do not worry, they will be sent out soon after our test.
Today I get a picture of my purchase. I had hope to get one in a nice package (looks better if you give it someone as a gift), but the picture shows only the product flimsy foil 
I got an e-mail TODAY from DD. My order has shipped!!!! Break out the champagne! I paid for it on the 20th and it shipped today! Hoo-yah! Happy camper here! Shouldn't be long now, right? Right? I'm waiting at my door. I ordered two of them so I'm doubly excited. Hey, maybe that's why it took 8 days to ship cuz I ordered two. If I ordered one maybe it would only have been 4 days to ship?

Mine was delivered today.
I'm very impressed. Comes with nice presentation box containing the torch and the headband.
Bright, floody beam, ramping works well if a little fast, it goes dim enough to be able to look directly into the led. The magnet in the base is strong enough to hold it at any angle. It seems very well made. Only tried with a LSD NiMh so far, I have some 14500s here but might just let someone else try that first ;)
So, my first purchase from DinoDirect is a resounding success, thank you Semur. And cheers for the little bag of crystal mud, the missus loves that stuff.
