Just a reminder- DX does not have a US warehouse. They have a special shipping arrangement on some items that are supposed to ship to the US faster than their regular shipping. But everything is still shipping from China.
I didn’t know that it wasn’t in the us. Is this the same with tmart? I got my hd2010 from tmart within a week.
Tmart has warehouse in NJ, only certain items is shipped from China
The Tmart USA warehouse is the real deal. I got my C8 and HD2010 from the USA warehouse in about a week. Much faster than DX.
The few orders I’ve made from the USA dxsite made it here within 2 weeks from order. Plenty better than most Chinese warehouses do.

Just dropped the hammer on this one, bought one of those USB chargedoctor things to kick it over $25 for free shipping…let’s hope it comes with a heatsink!

fireblade, did you have to confirm your order or do nothing after they notified you of the backorder?
Mine has not yet shipped.
They never told me anything I just kept checking “My Orders” on their website till I saw it change to “Full Shipment”
I just checked. My order was shipped four days ago.
I was expecting an E-Mail telling me that my order was shipped. I didn’t think to look, I just did, and it has “fully shipped” on 4/2 :bigsmile:
EDIT: I just checked the 1 I ordered from DX US and it has shipped also.

Initial impressions:
Underdriven. Color temperature is very cool A0 tint maybe?
Nice machining and ano. Have not taken it apart yet. Have batteries on the charger for it.

XM-L2 as far as I can tell.
Pop out the reflector and tell us what you find. How are the LEDs mounted? Are they on an aluminum shelf, or a plate that at least touches the insides of the head? Or are they on a cheesy little piece of aluminum that doesn’t conduct the heat anywhere?
