[Sold out] 8 Purple Samsung ICR18650-28A $10 shipped

This seller probably sold more in the last 2 days than he sold in the last 4 years carrying this battery lol.

I should have my first order of 2 packs before this sale runs out. If mine test good, I might just get a few more.

the question is not about the sale run out of time… more like if he’s going to run out of stock for this particular battery pack at this price

Mine left San Jose, CA on Thursday. It shipped 2 day Priority Mail so maybe I will get mine tomorrow (Saturday)

I ordered a second one also, probably get that one next week.

feeding frenzy reinstated! GO GO GO BUY BUY BUY lol

Sweet, ordered one. Thanks! I could use some for the ENB battery bank I picked up - http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002784/1381305-enb-enb-tri18650-1a-3-18650-li-ion-battery-usb

Well, San Jose is just a few miles from Redwood City and Siskiyou claims to be “behind the Redwood curtain.”

Two packs are enough for me. I didn’t even really need one pack but I’ll mark these cells and see if there is any measurable difference between them and the run of the 18650 I get out of used packs.

I got like 9 used packs for $35 once and that yielded me about 80 good cells and a dozen bad ones. My Spark headlamp shows me which cells are lacking by reduced runtimes so these new packs are destined for my work headlamp and Vamo V3 e-cig.

Can someone please tell me why I need 100 18650 cells? I have 15 lights that use this cell and I rarely use any of them. I always use my AAA lights when traveling and the only 18650 light I use daily is my Spark headlamp. Maybe I need to start using my 18650 flashlights more.

sigh… I should stay away from BLF… just pulled the trigger on another 2 packs :weary:

7 packs total? what are you going to do with all those batteries? make a 40x18650 battery pack, and use the rest for flashlights, lol?

Never performed a battery pull before, but I couldn't resist the price. I'm assuming I should proceed with caution...

well… for sure I can use this to give away along with budget flashlight to friends and family… ’cos I’m not going to give them my Panasonics 3400 mAh
and I could always use them for bigger battery pack to be use for camping and stuffs

I’m on the Gulf coast. When the hurricanes and tropical storms hit, I’ll have enough batteries to keep lights on in every room.

Haha!
No on both counts. The only redwoods left in redwood city are installed on people’s decks…
Just returning a favor in kind that has been extended to me many times as a lurker. $2 Sipik, $13 Tangsfire C8, $25 6x Skyray, battery packs from in and out computers… Not to mention the wealth of information that has been freely provided for a new found hobby.

Well, it wouldn’t really be so bad even if so, as long as the cells are new and good condition, its still a deal. Tks Siskiyou. Like I said I already bought some of these previously and they have been good cells over many recharges (and a bit pricier too).

My thanks too Siskiyou, but I have to point out the significance of your chosen location.

“Behind the Redwood Curtain” makes reference to the Classic Movie “Wizard of OZ”. The actual phrase in the movie was “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”

Here is the dictionary definition of the phrase:

the man behind the curtain

Noun.

A phrase used to describe someone who is in the background secretly plotting and conspiring or also a hypocrite of great proportions.

Derived from the movie The Wizard of Oz.

just thought you should know

That’s great! Now I’m a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma… and a very bad wizard.

If you want to amuse yourself further google “behind the redwood curtain”. I assure you I have no association with that vendor either. Further down the search results is an urban dictionary link that will explain everything…

I assumed it was a play on the old cold war “iron curtain”.
Looks like I was right

_Redwood Curtain
(adj) The Redwood Curtain (RC) is the extreme northwestern corner of California, i.e. the coastal counties of Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino. The RC is the norcal version of the Iron Curtain in eastern Europe erected during the Cold War and is mostly used in a derogatory sense, whereby the RC symbolizes the area’s lack of cultural or metropolitan qualities as well as poor transportation access, sparse development, rugged geography, and a weird provincialism among the native locals._

so when the SHTF and the zombie apocalypse arrives, i dont have to find more 18650s… i just have to find one of the BLF members houses that ordered 12 of these packs LOL.

“Behind the Redwood Curtain” has a certain meaning that has NOTHING to do with the Wizard.

I really goofed on that one!
