Tom, this my first battery pack. My question is are the batteries connected together with welded tabs? If so, are they easily removed without damage. Do you dremel them off, or just leave them on cutting away as much as possible?
I got one…pretty sweet deal!
Just trim them if you want more height, a la mini-button, or grab the tab with needle-nose pliers and roll it off like opening a can of sardines with a key. (Do they still make those?) Then gently file down any sharp bits.

The convex side of a pair of diagonal cutters is good for burnishing down the edges if you leave some tab on the positive end.
I usually just twist back and carefully with a pair of needle nose pliers. Then I clean up the leftover weld with my dremel very carefully. You can also use a file to smooth but takes longer
Maybe he adds more.
My pack came in today in nice ASUS retail box & padded envelope w/April 2011 sticker. All good.
I happen to be using the cells for a project that I’ll be making a 3S2P pack for & these will be perfect & are of course a great deal.
darm. just sold out, the kicker is I have a asus UL50V that I pulled out of the trash because the battery pack wasn’t working right.
I hate the BLF kiss of death. harumph.

Quite the feeding frenzy & probably not limited to BLFers. I need the one pack I bought but maybe someone else here has a spare they could sell to you.
I just checked the tracking on my order and it shows “out for delivery”. Then the doorbell rings and I’m thinking, “It’s the mail man with my package!”
I run down the stairs to the front door, where I am greeted by a gentleman named Mr. Menard who would like me to join the Jehovah church. :~
And no, he did not have my batteries.
Fedex just delivered a large box in perfect condition. The packs arrived neatly packaged in 10 OEM Asus boxes with their factory seals intact (Asus tape oval). Its to bad the laptops for these packs were from 2009 vintage or Id be looking for an old beater to use with all these packs… maybe (but probably not). 
so you get fedEx and the rest of us get USPS. I feel scroogled!
