Yes. Rear switch can only turn on and off. Side switch can only change modes when the light is on.

I forgot- there’s one other big difference between the C8 type lights and the L4. The L4 has a buck, or boost/buck driver. I know it’s a buck driver because it can run on one cell or two and it has no PWM. I’m not sure if it is a boost driver though. Haven’t had time to test that.

Thanks for the info TT. Does anyone know where I can get a STAINLESS STEEL BEZEL for this flashlight? I think I read it can take a C8 bezel, but not sure. Please let me know.

For some reason, I love a light with a nice shiny stainless steel beezel. Adds a little class!

Hey Texas Toasted, since you have both, can you tell me if the bezel on the C8 will fit the L4? I'm wondering if I have to order a C8 with a stainless steel bezel just to put one on the L4. I have been looking for 2 hours now and haven't found any 42mm-44mm stainless steel bezels. Thanks

Thanks blfdemigod and TexasToasted. I do have a Convoy C8 and it is an amazing light for $15. I like the design but I’m not sure if I want to spend more money on XinTD although judging by the reviews and comments the reflector, noctigon (now soldered to pill) and AR lens are step above the normal C8. On the other hand L4 has no pill and fitted with a good driver. I also like the momentary function without having to interrupt mode memory unlike the nanjg. Well, L4 here I come!

Guys I have placed my order for T5-5B but now I’m not sure if I should cange my order to T6-3B or T6-4C. 7A and 1A are too warm and cool for my taste. I’m used to T6-4C in my Convoys but feeling a bit bored with them. Should I go warmer (5B-current order) or cooler (3B)?

Update : Stay with 5B.

Curse you all DayLighter you already have an L4 and lots of C8's right? Do you know if we can put a C8 bezel on this L4? Is it a perfect fit? I really want to give my L4 the "special treatment".
