WTS De-domed XP-G2/XM-L2, sinkpads, modded drivers, copper spring mods and heatsinking, (SOLD)

This is for Both of these modded lights. I have one Set Left and Then They are Gone.

502B ultrafire flashlight hosts, with clip. These are very nice with smooth aluminum reflectors. Much nicer than the 501b’s. Good finish on these for sure.

One has a de-domed XP-G2 the other has a de-domed XM-L2 both emitters were very cool white to begin with so they are still only a nice neutral tint, Not green or too yellow. Both come mounted on Sinkpads.

The springs on both ends have been modded with copper mesh.

The drivers have been resistor modded and have heavy wires put on them as well.

For better heatsinking and heat transfer they have a copper sleeve over the reflector and pill to transfer heat to the body.

$35 for both lights and free shipping for the US

$30 plus actual shipping to any place else.

As usual first PM gets the lights.

I just woke up and this made me think too hard. I had to go get my lights and double check the calendar. LOL Sorta reads like you had quadruplets of these lights. Anyways, those ones I just got from you are cool little lights. I took the clips off. Much smoother.

I bought three of these a while back and gave one to my Mom and one to my Brother and Sister. Then I went and bought a bunch more. I think they are the most bang for you buck light around. Before this I had bought some 501B hosts and I never did sell them because they just seemed to flimsy. These are pretty darn close to Solarforce quality. It must have been what they were going for.

I had a 501, it was rubbish. These are actually pretty darn solid lights. I love the soft white color. I worked over the threads a little and that made a big difference. If someone wants a perfect walk the dog, give the wife or kid, family or cool neighbor their first light, get this set up. Also fun legoability.

I just put one of them (the pair of 502b’s I bought from you) on the scale. With out battery it weighs: 3.84 oz. and 5.34 oz with the battery you send. Compare a Surefire E2D LED Defender at 2.64 with out and 3.79 oz with batteries. So these 502B’s are some beefy little lights. I was impressed with the thickness of the aluminum.

Good luck with sale.

Thanks for the good luck. They just sold. Didn’t take too long.

One set sold, One more set still for sale. Same price same deal. Then I need to take a break for a while.
