The improved version will show 2.0 after power up for 2 second and then make full segment display turned on. This is the way to tell the difference between HKJ’s first reviewed version which has no version number displayed after power up. In future, if we make any improvement, we will have this version number updated reflecting the change.

But I have to ask, so with the current fist and second version, unless sellers switch them on and then inform us, we wont know until be buy one and switch it on ourselves if its the revision model? IN essence a lucky dip?

On that, did you read HKJs review of the item yourself or just the highlights and then responded to those?

Thats what led to the questions. It doesnt answer them.
Well one is answered. It IS pot luck whether or not you get the corrected version, you will ONLY know once you have it in your hands, not before. It must be switched on to see the firmware revision number. Although Dora could switch each one and tell us. But I have not seen that posted as the case so Ill assume its not the updated version until I hear differently.

And the other question is not answered as only Henry Xu can answer it. Basically in Point #4 of post #64 Henry Xu disagrees with HKJs assessment. I was wondering if Henry had actually read the review, or just a list of highlighted points that someone may have sent to him.

Im not saying he is wrong, but it would be nice to know if he disagrees based on the review, or a dot point.

Well, the dealer would actually have to plug it in and watch the display show 2.0 before shipping it. (although to some dealers it’s not as easy as it sounds, lol)

Today, Dora of Gearbest has confirmed that they have the updated firmware V2.0 version of the BT-C3100 and a sample will be sent to HKJ for a quick review. HKJ is already aware of this and will be waiting for it.

I think the choices are only US and EU plugs. Perhaps you have to use an US/EU to UK plug, or a universal plug adaptor?
