Pretty incredible deal on the Ultrafire UF-H2 (similar to Zebra H501), Only $16

I will take one. If you please.

OOPs! scratch that. I should read dates of posts better.

Oh well........

I guess for those who missed the short 2-day sale, we can only hope that they follow this up on the XP-G version, though that one is only 16340 and 17670-compatible. I've concluded that 14500/AA size is ideal for most headlamp use.

If they are making money on this deal, you'd think they'd want as many people to participate. It's quite obvious now that many of us have known about the Ultrafire headlamps, and have not gotten one, but would at the right price. Headlamps are a really underserved area here--and obviously, the demand is there. Current headlamps are either too cheesy, or rather pricey. With as many quite decent cheap handheld flashlights as there are out there, you'd think there would be more compelling options with headlamps.

haha, we will have other good deals sharing with you here.

hehe, you can repack it with other beautiful package when you get it.

Dang. At least you got in on the deal. You got one of the best "high end budget" headlamps for half the normal price, you should be grateful if it comes only in bubble wrap and works properly. Every single budget light I've ever gotten, with the exception of Solarforce bodies, have come with no formal packaging, no matter where I've gotten them from, even other Ultrafire products. Someone who really wanted an H2 would probably be keeping it anyway, rather than giving it away to someone who probably wouldn't appreciate it nor use it as much. Gift giving often involves trying to get the recipient to think you spent more on something than you really did, and that's one thing I really dislike about the practice. I say if you want to show a person you care through money, then spend the money. If you got it for you, enjoy the light!

When you buy a hard drive, do you buy bulk/"oem" versions if they're cheaper, or do you pay extra just so you can get a package to take apart with instructions you don't need? That was the mother of all headlamp deals to come along so far, as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to see Zebralight come in here and do something like that, but I'm sure they won't. Heh, I'd be happy if they just acknowledged our forum--but to my knowledge, they haven't, even though their products come up regularly here. Hasn't given me any extra incentive to buy from ZL (nothing against them though). Especially since I'm slowly learning to mod my own stuff, thanks in large part to this forum.

I've just received UF-H2b safely this afternoon..seem to be good quality after external inspection. I'm testing with ni-MH after 15 mins and felt very warm....I'll test more tomorrow...:-)

Thanks Semur for this promotion...

Semur, Have all of the orders been shipped? I haven't received a shipment email as of yet. Thanks.

Received mine Today.. Saturday July 30th.

I really like it!!!!!

Small, nice clip, magnetic end...

Thanks Semur....

My order status didn't change yet. Right after ordering it showed "order paid" and it is still the same today. I also didn't get any email. What's wrong?

I've received mine, and my order status never changed from 'order paid'.

Still says it now.

Thanks for the info, it makes me sleep better.

I got my shipping notice and tracking number last night! yay :)

I find mine easier to use on a nitecore headband. The included rubber mount doesn't work with the clip, and is very difficult to install. The nitecore headband has an additional strap over the top of your head, and holds the headlight much more firmly while also allowing mounting with the clip intact (and much easier to slip into the headband).

The included one was also too soft and weak so felt un-retentive.

The PWM is still annoying me, but at $20 i can try to look over it, But definitely not for use as a headlight for when I'm working in the workshop.. Which is what I bought it for. Machining on the lathe is not fun at all with a strobing light.

thanks for all to share your experience with other members here. I am glad that you are interested in the item. And hope you can write a review about it to tell more members about it. I will keep you informed about more good deals in our store. Thanks.

If you want, you can read my little non-experienced review on this headlamp here https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/3168

Drop testing.

Well I suppose that I will be the first to do Drop testing review, (at least, from that batch)

I prefer to let things like runtime, beam profile, led intensity and things like that to more qualified people…

So here I come with my invaluable data, “dropping test”…

First of all we will need few rare elements

1 really stupid owner of a Ultrafire UF-H2

2 A new Ultrafire UF-H2

3 Magnetic surface

Once you have all that ingredients, you mix them….

And what you get is a 1,8 meter free fall, and a heart attack.

Good news is that the Ultrafire UF-H2 is still alive and works like when I get it just few hours ago from post office.

Bad news is that it had a really deep scratch. So, like wise people uses to say:

“It’s the same to be killed by one shot, than by ten”… and I didn’t have so much to loose so I came up with an idea..

That is the best you can get with such "elements"....Embarassed

Got an email mine was sent. Now the wait begins. This is the part I love most with all the HK/Chinese vendors. I need to be on prozac or something from the time I order until it arrives.

My UF-H2b arrived in the mail this morning.

Initial impressions are very good.

Very small - About the size of a Quark Mini AA.

I like the brief flash when you screw the tailcap down alerting you to the closed circuit.

You can easily open the circuit with a quarter turn of the tailcap to avoid any parasitic drain from the switch.

Will be playing with this when it gets dark around here.

Cheers,

Tim

I'm in California and mine arrived today. So far so good - looks like an excellent light.
