Something is awry. How is it that on Duracell 9 volt batteries the package doesn’t have a warning against Tongue Voltage Testing?? I have been doing that for years! Works well, i think?? H)

Why would you use your tongue? Is that not why we have kids? Let them do it. Unfortunately mine only did it once so I had to have another one. Let me tell you a dmm is much cheaper!

Why do I say this?
Because…
For the 12th time over the past 5 years, I’ve had Duracell batteries suffer leakage. LEAKAGE. Just by sitting in the device not doing anything. Remotes, flashlights, games, you name it. I just discovered a double AA Maglite that I’d forgotten about for a few years, in physically excellent shape, but when I went to open it the cap was stuck. I discovered why… because of battery leakage. AGAIN!!
I’m absolutely DONE with Duracell. I’ve never seen a company with so many incidents of leakage with ONE PERSON. I don’t do anything unusual at all. All of my Energizer and other batteries under exact same usage have not leaked at all. NOT ONE. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
So, I went to Amazon reviews and noticed a number of people having made similar complaints. I WROTE TO DURACELL… and you know how they replied? “We’re sorry you ran into battery issues. This is the first we’ve heard of it. Please enjoy these coupons for your next purchase.” I mean… WTF?
