I’m waiting for an order since 1st April. It’s held up because of only one item on backorder, though there was no indication of stock issue when I placed the order. It’s not the end of the world, but three weeks seems a long time to wait. I am tempted now to write again and ask Banggood to cancel the item causing the delay.
Update: Now I feel guilty because I asked them to send the backordered item separately and they were really nice and helpful, and quick to respond too. So really I could have contacted them sooner instead of waiting this long.
I just got my D40A today. Pretty good delivery time… 14 days from the day I ordered. It’s not always like that though, my worst order was one day shy of two months.
52 Days and counting since my first order from BG was shipped . Support keeps telling to go to customs and to post offfice without any tracking info to go by.
I have made multiple orders from different vendors from Aliexpress since and received them weeks ago including a battery order.
My first L4 I ordered from them shipped the day after ordered, and arrived 8 days after that. Waiting for part 2 of my order now some GU10 globes and other bits.
Roche - never showed up and I got a refund via a paypal dispute. Customer service never even responded to my emails.
Solarstorm XML2 - arrived and was XML… I was given a $2 refund. I took the refund instead of filing a claim because to me personally it wasnt that big of a deal.
Keepower 14500s - great price and arrived in 2 weeks and batterys are great!
Convoy L4 - great price and arrived in 8 days and absolutely no issues - love this light!
Olight - a3t xpg2 - great light, great price, its my edc
Tank 007 - currently in transit
Will I order from them again? I don’t know. It depends on the light and deal. It seems the more options you have to choose from, the more they might screw up the order some how.
I was looking for a USB light on this thread after finding out that KD was out of stock, Neal from banggood very was fast to respond and help out, decided to cancel my order with KD and order from BG instead, light was shipped the next business day, and arrived well packaged in about 10 days and in perfect working condition, Neal also answered questions I had about the tracking number via PM in a timely manner.
To me BG Has been a very good experience so far, and the customer service I recieved from Neal is TOP NOTCH.
So far a great dealer, fast communication and very accommodating. A vendor that pays to have a commercial account on BLF means they are serious about the business of flashlight enthusiasts. Also always reassuring to know that there is someone over at the other end to answer your questions, plus Neal their CSR rep on BLF is also a big help !
BG is currently my main battery supplier, yes delivery is slow but what can you do it’s slow everywhere, prices are good and the average time they need to ship items that are not in stock is better then in other shops. Most of my goodies comes from them…

I learned!! I NEVER BUY OVER SEAS ANYMORE!! FOR ALL THAT HASSLE, WAITING, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO GUARANTEE YOU WILL EVEN GET THE PRODUCT OR ONE YOU ORDERED! ALL THAT TO SAVE A FEW DOLLARS,NO F’ING WAY!!!
One of my rules,If they do not have a phone number[I am not calling over seas either!],I have nothing to do with them. IM’ing and emails are toooo slooooww and frustrating!
I was mainly referring to chinese shops with affordable shipping charges. Shipping stuff from US to me would be faster but significantly expensive also.
