Opus BT-C3100 V2.0 "Dreamcharger" GROUP BUY Now @ $ 36. New coupon code - tatasal -(to close July 15) NOW CLOSED

It takes about 5 to 10 days for tracking to go active.

In my case, it was sent April 29, via Sweden Post.

Initially it goes ‘Cannot be found’ for about 3-4 days (this means it’s not uploaded yet in their computers)

Next 2 days, it was “Unable to Track” (uploaded, but still in the possession of the post office)

Just now I checked it here: http://www.17track.net/index_en.shtml

It has now suddenly gone active: 2014-05-04 15:00, Order dispatched
Transporting (7 days to go active)

Gentlemen, please understand whenever a package already has a tracking number, it is already out of the hands of the vendor. Postal workers are almost always late in uploading the status of the package in their computers.

Relax, my friend. Maybe Dora has not explained to you very well, but I assure you there is NO such thing as a ‘lower quality BT-C3100 charger’!

cough v1 cough

Mine shipped the same day as yours tatasal, and it is still labeled “unable to track” and “not found”.

Also odd… did these all ship from The Netherlands?

The chargers in this group buy have the updated firmware V2.0, which will show in the LCD display “2.0” one or two seconds after start-up on the left side of the screen.

I’m sorry to hear that but believe me you will feel relieved when it suddenly goes active. I have that experience always regardless it was sent via Chinapost, Singpost, HK, Sweden and all the other postal services, regardless of vendor. I got so used to it that I tend to forget about the package in the first 5 to 7 days, although when I was new in this hobby part of the fun and suspense is the tracking of a package several times a day!

I find that very odd too…why Sweden, sometimes Malaysia or almost ‘name your country post’ but they are all coming from Shenzhen, China. Odd indeed.

I will ask Dora about it.

Mine showed up in the system today, coming from the Netherlands.

Destination Country - Usa:Tracking Consuming:999 Millisecond
Origin Country - Netherlands:Tracking Consuming:8112 Millisecond
2014-05-06 03:38, The item is at the PostNL sorting center

After I changed the destination to US and reloaded……

2014-05-06 03:31, The item is at the PostNL sorting center
Transporting

LOL…. I have no idea.

The origin is listed as Netherlands though and “normal tracking”

Haha…I don’t mind even if it comes from Timbuktu as long as its already active. How I wish it would be like the others in the USA which can supply almost real-time information, every step of the way.

Dont you gert sick of saying that same thing, again and again? … maybe you should go back and read the posts to which you are responding. Not one, all of them. Theres three…
But heres the main one… Ill even underline the pertinent bit.

Read that first line. Its also poor English, but the interpretation should be, “GEARBEST CANT guarantee the next order made by GEARBEST from their SUPPLIERS will be v2. They might be v1” If Dora is not referring to v.1 and v.2, then what quality difference is Dora referring too?

You know, like the XM-L2 Solarstorm SC’s , oh no, its just an XML have $2 back. A guarantee from a Chinese website is just a fortune cookie. Here, they have clearly said as much. Yes yes, that was not Gearbest, but they are all the same. Poor English, no interest in the hobby, its all about making a living. Its smart to understand that if youre going to buy from them.

Just for clarity, Dora is being upfront which is not to be sneezed at.

You then suggest there is no such thing as a lower quality version. To which I responded, yes there is, the v1. A version you seem to suggest no longer even exists. It does. And the implication here is that so many have been ordered, that GEARBEST can no longer guarantee that everyone will get v2. They might, they might not.

Mine was delivered today via dhl I’ll be home in 30 minutes or so to try it out.

@ ejected filament:
Your underlined quote simply means… because of the high demand, sometimes the supplier can’t supply all the units immediately, but does not mean they are of lesser quality (the review version or the 1.0)

They are of the same quality because they were made by the same manufacturer, they only have inferior firmware than the 2.0.

I never said the firmware 1.0 does not exist, nor even implied. All I was saying is that the group buy chargers are all the V2.0 versions.

It’s 144 units sold now.

Gearbest finally told me it shipped (again), but this time they gave me a tracking number … so I punched in the tracking number on DHL’s website, and the status is ‘Shipment information received’. Typically this means that a shipping label has been printed, but that DHL hasn’t actually received the package yet. This also means that gearbest straight-up lied when they told me (and posted on resellerratings) that it had already shipped yesterday. I find the dishonesty to be even less impressive than the delays :\

Its Chinglish for we sold so many we dont even know what we will be able to send out. We await suppliers and can not be sure what they will send us. PROBABLY, but NOT ALWAYS of lesser quality. That is not stating they are assured to be v2.

It does not say, all our chargers are v2, do not worry at all. Maybe it should have, but it doesnt. And anyone deciding that is what it said, is foolish. Youve been warned and if you get v1, you have no grounds to dispute it. They have said, no guarantees.

Unless of course tatasal you are personally guaranteeing everyone in the GB that gets v1, you will buy it back off them, and cover postage too? Are you making that guarantee tatasal?

@Ejected Filament

I am not in China to personally look at each unit to check if indeed they are the V2.0 before shipping, so I cannot give you a PERSONAL GUARANTEE.

However, for the 3rd or 4th time I made sure with Dora that concern (when Henry Xu of Opus told me the one they are producing now is the V2.0, again, and just awhile ago on Skype, I asked her AGAIN the same question, and below is her reply: (copy/pasted)

we can guarantee that what is shipped are all the V2.0 version, before it ship out, we test first

I hope this answers your concern.

Edit: Gearbest never had the V1.0 in the first place.

Any word from HKJ about the review of version 2.0? I massively respect his reviews and opinions.

The V2.0 sample for HKJ can be tracked here:

Oh bugger, thought he’d have it by now, might be weeks until we see a new review :frowning:
