It’d be a 10440 rather than a 14500 :), but we’ll see…

Of course, 10440.
3.6 Volts average anyway.
But it’s that big dye strawhat they all use, with that tiny step up driver without current limiting, just like they all do in that price range.

I’m just curious: On my order, placed 5/9, it still says “Processing” and the progress bar is still stuck “Pending”. I’ve already received email from both Gearbest saying they received the order and PP that payment was made. Is this the same for everyone else’s order?

I know description and GearBest says XM-L, but I still wonder if it comes with XM-L2 like the lights from WB. Time will show.

In case people want to improve or change how the driver works, and its the typical F13 driver in the lights from GearBest.

Short connection in red circle if you want 5 modes (adds medium and strobe). Or remove resistor there if you want 3 modes high“mediumlow” and strobe.

-Add resistor on top of capacitator if you want to fix remove next mode memory. I used an 153 back when I played with this driver…

-If you want to increase current, move positive emitter wire from OUT+ to OUT+1.

-Cooper braid springs

-Replace stock locating ring with butterfly ring from FT.

Or just just replace or piggyback a better driver to it. Which Is my way of doing it. And use a decent XM-L2 on Noctigon.

Cant remember exactly.. Its a fairly long time since I made the picture, and I cant remember where I posted it (and the info about it)

I think it went from about two amps, and up towards 3. But I believe output were sinking fairly fast, and you need a good cell if you want to stay at 2,5A+ for a decent amount of time... When that is said, Im not sure if I tested it with any decent high current drain cells back then.

If its still the same driver it will probably work pretty much the same way.

CX2829 is the controller and the MEM2309 is the FET. Though really the 2309 FET only has one input, plus 3legs is for Vcc and four legs is for Vout - theoretically only need three pins so why they put in in 8-legs I never know.

CX2829 is somewhat kick-ass cheap controller being able to provide output 1.5A by itself in that tiny package. But it’s only used to control the 2309 FET here, and this FET in my experience can only give out around max 3A when driving older XMLs.

But we’re probably jumping the gun here - not sure which driver we’ll get anyway - this one will be Ultrafire version (instead of Skyeye).

I don’t recall seeing a ~35mm triple board or reflector or TIR.

Cutter sells triple and quad boards that fit 35mm TIR optics. The Ledil Cute-3 and Cute-4 as well as the low profile GT4-xp series. The only 2 boards I’ve ever seen anywhere else fit these fantastic optics where Pilotptk’s integrated board and one made in EU, also integrated.

5/9 here plus they're 12 hours ahead, so they're probably closed for the weekend. At least the shipping dept.

Yes, all dealers close for the week-ends. Nothing will happen till sometime in their Monday afternoon. So, some time Sunday in the wee hours, or best look sometime Monday. Most likely with a bunch of orders, it will be Tuesday till they start to move out.
