looking for a intrinsically safe light

Hi guys

i am looking for a intrinsically safe light for my brother inlaw

it needs to be pocket size no bigger than 2xAA smaller if possible and needs to run on AAA or AA batteries

To be intrinsically safe, a flashlight must be certified as meeting some fairly rigorous conditions which will ensure thte light does not give off sparks. Typically, this also means a plastic (non metal) body. This is not an everyday request for a light...since the light is normally used in a hazardous location.

$5 Plastic Ray-O-Vac lights from Walmart are intrinsically safe, not sure what it is you are seeking in terms of "safe".

an 'Intrinsically Safe' Eveready 3D (c1970) from my time on tankers. Laughably dim these days.
