Thanks. If I’m not mistaken AW cells about the same size as Nitecore. Glad to hear that.

Thanks for the codes but I'm not able to get any discount from the original price when I apply the codes. Is there any secret method to get the codes to work.

Thanks again

I wonder if the codes have expired - I think your best bet is to PM hkequipment. I will do the same to see if they expired

Hke says codes should be working.

If you are still having an issue just send them a direct payment on PayPal with your order. Their pp is pay@hkequipment.net

still not accepting the coupon code for me. I went ahead and ordered 2 x NW SG5s and 2 x spot reflectors by sending direct payememnt to their paypal account.

Thanks

My SF5 arrived today. Neutral White XM-L2, as ordered. And what a great little flashlight it is. It’s going to become my new favourite for a while, and reminds me that I rarely need much more than 200 lumens.

Mine is a tiny bit brighter on turbo when using Li-Ion too (compared to a freshly charged Eneloop), but the difference only registers with a light meter and not with my eyes.

Kudos to HKE for the super-fast dispatch, and thanks again jmpaul320 for all your efforts

Mine just arrived too - that e-Express service is amazingly fast. Nice little light (SG5), although some marks on the edges of the carbon fibre sleeve, like it hasn’t been machined properly.

Still, amazing service - thanks to Stanley for excellent service, and jmpaul320 for your efforts.

thats great you guys are getting your lights already

i havent even checked my tracking number yet haha. i dont usually with hke because their shipments usually get here fast (8-14 days)

Is it too late to get in on this GB ? I have just got paid

I just received mine today. It’s a very beautiful light but I have a problem. When I tried to get to turbo mode by double clicking it just flashed for a second and then went off. The cell is Nitecore NL166. I also tried with a Panasonic CR123 and the turbo mode worked fine. I will try again when the cell is fully charged. Also the spring circuit on the tailcap just snapped off. They just glued the circuit.

Sorry about that. About the suddenly off, it may be high current tripped the battery protection circuitry. Please test with non-protected battery. About the end cap, please contact us for spare parts if not acceptable. Sorry for inconvenience that may cause

Hi harry - yes it sounds like perhaps the battery needs to be charged if turbo shuts off like that

The cell has not enough juice if the Turbo cannot be sustained.

Thanks guys and HKE. I tried with the fully charged cell and yes it went to the turbo mode.

Great

it looks like mine is coming either today or tomorrow

this is my cheaper and hopefully more reliable option to the zebra sc52w

It pains me to hear about all the issues people seem to be having with various Zebralights these days. Hopefully the fact that both the SC52 and SC600 have been on backorder for so long is an indication that they’re trying to iron out the bugs before doing a new manufacturing run. I’m really looking forward to getting an SC600W L2 MkII one day.

yeah i want one of those too - on illumination supply they said the new shipment has different coloring in the annodization between the tail cap and body :frowning:

I have had 3 zebras in the last 2 years and all of them have had QC problems… flickering on low, switch failure, horrible tint, off center emitters… i still enjoyed them to some extent though… i wish i could get a good one lol i think i have bad luck

I got mine today. It arrived in great condition. Had a quick play with it and all seems okay.

Some quick observations:

-well built
-good and simple UI
-push button slightly raised, and tailcap has a small flat area, making only tail standing possible (though not the best stability)
-tint warmer than expected, but still quite nice

I really like this light after playing with it a few times today. Nice build quality and I love a lot the brushed finish on the surface. The NW tint is simply gorgeous! The mode is simple enough but my only gripe with this light is it can’t continue to cycle between the mode after you release the button. It has to start on the first (lowest mode) again.

A cosmetic issue like that probably wouldn’t have stopped me from buying one. But that backorder status is difficult to circumvent
