What's the best way to pay for Chinese purchases?

I tired to buy something from Banggood last week using a US based credit card and ran into problems with payment. And a lot of confusion along the way. The credit card processing company put a hold on the order due to Banggood being a foreign company (I’m sure the name didn’t make them look any more respectable) which resulted in Banggood placing the order but telling me the order had not been placed due to a lack of payment. After trying unsuccessfully to place the order several times I got a call from the credit card company asking if I’d made these purchases, and was told by them that I could place the order again and they would approve the purchase. Which led to Banggood canceling that order because the orders they told me hadn’t been placed had not been paid for.

I’d like to avoid this whole fiasco on my next order (which won’t be with Banggood) and be able to pay for my purchase when I place the order. What’s a good way to do this?

PayPal .

Prepaid visa or mastercard gift card is an option. Available in amounts up to $500. I know some people try to avoid paypal. Look for “No fees after purchase”, “Funds never expire” & usable worldwide.

yes

I either use PayPal, or Visa gift cards from my bank!

Paypal only for me. Never use gift option (for purchases say from other forum members and the like).

use paypal, it has buyer protection and they have worked with every store that takes them, the chinese stores have thousands of orders from BLF members

I only use PayPal. Though it’s the worst form of payment next to everything else.

Your soul.

they won’t accept it as payment

In my younger days I went to a party where it was 3 dollars or your eternal soul as the cover charge to get in, and I didn’t have the 3 bucks. Long story short, some girl named Jenny owns my soul, and it wasn’t even that great of a party :frowning:

Paypal, your first born, sacrificial goat, nigerian prince inheritance, shilling, or 10,000mAh SuperFire 18650s.

Youre confused thats why. You have Bort as your name and avatar, but your sig suggests you are in fact Bart. Bart sold his soul, it passed to various people eventually ending with his sister. Bart seemingly then got back his soul from his sister. Sadly for Bart soul trading is part of an older world, one where women can not own property and a soul is considered property. However ownership can not revert to one who sold it (except the original owner), and as such the previous owner can not retain ownership, the soul is lost forever. Or until you perform the ritual.

You must go to a public place, and in your loudest voice sing the song, Im a little teapot, and you must act it out. Film it and post to youtube. Your soul will be returned to you at which time you can trade it on a SK68.

Its not rocketology.

Those are my retirement plans!

However Bart did get $5 for his soul, and if that were today he could get a discounted SK68 for that money, so if we factor in inflation and wait for a good sale he should be able to buy 2 SK68s so no dice.

+1
